Holding Hands Family Child Care & Play Center

This place is absolutely terrible. The kids are crowded into the rooms, which are CLEARLY over the state and fire safety number POSTED ON THE WALL.. I had once visited on a tour and there were 16 children crammed into a room not including the staff members (there were 3-4 which wasn't enough to my liking in the 1/2- 2 year old room) that makes 19-20. On the wall as I exited the tiny room the fire code said 12 IS THE MAXIMUM CAPACITY OF THAT ROOM. I was livid but continued the tour. The staff was a bunch of miserable high school children that clearly weren't of age to care for a child alone. I soon learned that this was completely true from a neighbor that has one of their previous staff members as a sitter. She stated that their are MANY high school children that were hired under the age of 18 and they weren't even allowed to leave them in the room alone to use the BATHROOM because they weren't legally allowed to be alone. This preschool offers more than just preschool, they also offer karate classes, music classes, and much more. They seem to be truly caring people here and the kids seem to enjoy themselves very much. Their facility is very fresh and clean, which is very important when dealing with lots of children! more
