Very nice. The room was great. We especially like the included breakfast. The health center was very nice lots of equipment, clean, and open 24 hours a day. The business center was also very nice. We could check our e-mail and print off our boarding passes. more

We are locals and this is the second year that my husband & I have stayed here at the Marriott for their New Years Eve bash! We were joined by 2 other couples who stayed the night at the hotel as well. What peace of mind we had being able to not worry about drinking & driving and enjoy ringing in the New Year & just going up to our room while staying at a first class hotel. Check in/out was made easy by the front desk personnel who are so very friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant & needs are met. Our room was fantastic, clean, had a fridge, bar sink, lg. bathrm, robes, heart shaped tub & even a large balcony which overlooked the beautiful Santa Ynez mountains! The food at their ""Starting Gate Rest"" was so delicious as always(Chicken Cordon Bleu & Prime Rib with all the sides & desert too)...such wonderful chefs!!! All in all we had a great stay & will come back again & again. We even drove over for their Thanksgiving dinner this last November & I can't say enough about how wonderful & tasty all the food was & how comfortable the set-up was in their ballroom. What a spread they put on & such GREAT hospitality. I highly recommend this Hotel if you ever visit the Solvang/Santa Ynez area...locals too :) Thank You more

Very friendly, helpful staff made our stay at Marriott very enjoyable. If you are looking for a nice place to stay on a budget while visiting the Santa Ynez wineries, I highly recommend this hotel. It is not walking distance to Solvang or Los Olivos, but the extra comfort at a cheaper price is well worth the sacrifice. more

Our room was standard.... good size bed, nice sheets, clean, fully stocked bathroom. I liked the Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy toiletries. more

I travel a lot for business and always choose to stay at the Marriott chains, usually Courtyards. My husband and I stayed at this Marriott with ""free points"" I had accumulated. Upon arrival at check-in, they upgraded us to a Jacuzzi suite. The hotel had all of the usual Marriott features that I enjoy: Comfortable bedding, friendly staff, buffet breakfast, free internet. We would stay at this location again in a second. more

With regards to location, the Marriott is super close to local Buellton attractions (i.e. OstrichLand, anderson's Peasoup restaurant), but also very convenient for driving to Solvang and the beautiful local scenery, which is dotted with wineries and golden rolling hills. During out trip, fall colors were in full display too. If you get a good price, you'll really enjoy the Marriott. more

The Marriott was very comfortable, the room was very clean. We went on a wine tasting tour, the bus picked us up from the hotel and dropped us off, no hasels. The staff was very friendly and informative. They new all the good places to visit. We really enjoyed our relaxing vacation. more

This hotel is located in the hart of the Santa Barbara County wine country. We have stayed at other hotels in the area in the past five years and this is the best by far. It is a short drive to many great wineries and tasting rooms which was our reason for being there. more

The staff was very friendly upon our arrival and we were greeted when we were walking to our room by the housecleaning staff. The beds were very comfortable i loved the sheets very soft. We had a very nice buffet breakfast that was included in our room reservation. I would stay again in a heartbeat. more

We had a beautiful room with down beds and pillows. As well as blankets that smelled clean. The room had all the amenities and I loved the blow dryer, I plan to order on on-line. I would definitely stay there again. more
