Our physicians admit patients to Henry County Hospital and can provide care for many childhood illnesses. Not having to leave town for this type of care makes it easier for the entire family. If your child needs special care not available at HCH, we will arrange for admission to another hospital which can care for your child's specific needs. Typically most patients are admitted to an Indianapolis children's hospital. At Henry County Hospital your newborn or child will be cared for in the Women and Children's Unit. Family Suites that are almost like "home" are available for hospitalized children and adolescents. The Family Suites are designed so parents can easily stay with their children - even overnight in a comfortable sleeper chair. Video games and DVDs help keep everyone entertained and mini refrigerators let you bring your favorite snacks from home. Internet access is available in every room - just bring your laptop.
