When I walk into their store the first time, I was wondering what smells so good! Later I found out it is all their fresh fruits that they use for their smoothies and desserts. Not like Fantasia, Tapioca Express & Q cups-alike, eg. Bar Code (their neighbor), which they all use powder in all their smoothies, Hello Desserts actually use real fresh fruits, and what you are paying is the quality. The value you are getting at Hello Desserts is unbeatable! One of my favorite smoothies at Hello Desserts is the Mango Moo. Unlike the other powder mango drinks, you can actually taste the real mango in the Mango Moo. I've been to Just Desserts in San Francisco, and I was disappointed on their limited list of desserts they carry. At Hello Desserts, I was shocked to see they have over a hundred items on the menu! When compare to Just Desserts, which they sell only a few selections of cakes and few coffee drinks, Hello Desserts have the real desserts like Spanish Flan and Vanilla Creme Brulee, which are two of my favorites there, and a long list of cakes, asian delights, like the mango pudding and the coconut sea, Gelato, espresso, frappuccinos, the list just keeps going on and on. Oh, and I must mention their Hello Puffs! I have never tasted any cream puff that taste so good! The inside was soft and moist, with the smooth pasty cream and a little whip cream, the outside was warm and crunchy, covered with some snow-like powdered sugar. Once you have tasted their Hello Puffs, you will never want to eat at Beard Papa up in San Francisco anymore, trust me! The puffs that they sell at Beard Papa are not even puffs! They are cold and hard, as if they've been left outside overnight! At Hello Desserts, they actually bake their puffs daily and make sure that they are fresh! I'm a regular at Hello Desserts, and their team is just purely amazing. With the managers, Jesse and Hayden and the supervisor, Simon, they will make sure you are having a good time at Hello Desserts. This little dessert shop got all the desserts I like! From italian ice cream to some asian (don't know it's chinese, korean or japanese) exotic desserts that I have never seen before. Very creative and unique! They got some really nice dessert & drink pictures on the all, they all look so good! Last week I tried their new thing called Snow Azuki, or Asuki, it's really really good! It got the sweet red bean in the bottom and some tapioca stuff and covered with some special milk ice and then topped with my favorite green tea ice cream. This is the dessert to die for!!! Hello Desserts is such an awesome hang out place. Its nice and hip. The place in inviting with the wonderful colors, banners, and menu. The employees are very nice and polite. The menu offers anything from smoothies, ice creams and great finger foods. My favorite item is the Mango Moo smoothie, very good. If you wish to have snacks, the popcorn chicken and garlic fries are outstanding! All of the items are reasonably price for such wonderful desserts. The place is open late I visit very offen. hello desserts is definitely the best place in town to satisfy your sweet tooth. not only do they have pearl drinks (common favorite), they also have creme brulees, cakes, pudding, AND snacks like the delicious popcorn chicken. it'll take you forever to finish trying everything, and so you end up going there everyday...by the time you're done, you'd wanna go back and start over again. :) highly recommended...a must-eat-at-restaurant. Fantastic little restaurant! You feel like you've escaped to a paradise for a day. The first time I went there, I was so overwhelmed by their menu... everything looks so good and I just don't know what to order... The food was outstanding, plenty of choice - from desserts, Italian ice cream to smoothies, etc. They even have some delicious snacks (oh, you got to try their Asian style popcorn chicken, sooooo good). They are all reasonably priced as well. Their desserts are heavenly, so delicate. In the past months, I visited this little dessert house almost everyday (I think I'm addicted to it), so far I haven't been disappointed with their food, not even once. This place also got impeccable service and a relaxed atmosphere. You just couldn't ask for much more. more
