My daughter goes to Hefner Middle School, and she likes it pretty well. They have grades 6-8. It has the most kids of any middle school in Oklahoma. It is overcrowded. Some of the 6th grade has classes in temporary buildings, which are over 30 years old and not very nice. The school is in the process of building a new wing to replace the temporary buildings, but I don't know when it will be done. From what my daughter says, the teachers are pretty good. The kids have about an average of 15-30 minutes of homework everyday, but sometimes they have less or more. Every year the kids must take math, English, science and history, and they take 8 different electives over the course of a year, 2 per quarter, unless they select a year long one. They available choices for electives gets wider the higher grade you are. There are quarter (9 week) electives and yearly ones. Overall I would recommend sending your child to Hefner Middle School.
