Heavenly Hamburgers

Heavenly Hamburgers is a great example of a no-frills ""burger joint."" The service is counter only, but friendly. The condiment bar, as well as the buns and other items are fresh. \r \r Don't come here expecting a dumbed down health food version of a hamburger. The burgers are quite greasy (but not disgusting), enough so to turn off someone who isn't expecting it. \r \r The taste is excellent, and the style is very authentic. I highly recommend eating here, just so long as your expectations are on par with what is actually served. Pros: Authentic atmosphere and eats. Cons: Not exactly health concious heaven. more

I came here with the expectation of a great burger. As soon as I walked in and saw the kitchen and the menu board I immediately knew it was not to be. It took two 1/4 lb patties to make the 1/2 pounder. A condiment bar offered ripe tomatoes, 2 kinds of sliced pickles, jalapenos, and onions. No lettuce. The burger $4.79 was extremely greasy. I had to pat each patty with 4 napkins. The bun was standard grocer size and fresh. The fries were bland and for $1.79 they were not bountiful which did not matter. No brand colas. I never heard of Greer cola. I just had water, but it was reported to me that the cola is as bad as it sounds. The burger's taste was sour. It did not taste right.
