Heartland Resources, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization. Founded in 1968, Heartland Resources has evolved into a service organization whose mission is to assist the elderly in maintaining independence with dignity. Primary areas of service include: 1) In-Home Services, a program designed to help individuals remain in a community based setting as long as possible; 2) Lewis County Nutrition Program serving seniors aged 60+, as well as handicapped and disabled ages 18-59. Both home-delivered and congregate meals are available; 3) Foster Grandparent Program, a program on intergenerational sharing.
