Let me begin by saying the only reason I gave it one star is because they don't let you give them 0 stars. So I purchased a couple of packages from Living Social for my girlfriend and her mother so that they could enjoy a nice relaxing day together. When we called to make an appointment the girl working the phone was extremely rude from the get go, very unhelpful, and unpleasant. She asked what day we want to come in and whenever we gave her a date she would just say ""Nope, all booked up"". When we asked what days they have openings she would not tell us; instead she would just say ""well, I don't know, what day do you want to come in""? I went online and they had availabilities on all of the dates we asked about. I called back to book an appointment on one of the open days I saw on their website and once again was told that there weren't any openings on those days. I asked her what her name was and that I would like to speak to a manager and she refused to give me her name and said that she was the manager. As a business owner I was shocked to hear that! I asked why I can't get an appointment when I see availabilities online and with attitude she responded ""We sold 900 of those packages, what do you expect!"" I can't believe that a manager would not know if/when they had any openings, and would provide such horrible customer service. I don't believe that they don't have any openings, I'm pretty sure that they just don't want to deal with anyone who bought a package off of the Living Social website. Usually businesses will offer specials with marketing companies like Living Social and Groupon to obtain more exposure, get new customers, and drum up some new business, but in their case it appears that it will back fire in a major way. If they have sold 900 of these packages and treat 900 people this way they probably will be closing their doors in 2012. If this is the type of service they give on the phone what can you expect when you visit. Just speaking to them on the phone will raise your stress level, so I don't see how visiting them in person will relax you in any way. With customer service like that, they should get out of the healing & relaxation business and maybe look into a future working at the DMV, or corrections. I contacted the marketing company (Living Social) that I purchased the packages from so that I could get a refund and was told that they have been flooded with complaints about Healing Horizons, apologized for my experience, and said that they would be happy to refund me the full amount into a Living Social account.
