My experience with H-D Asheville began on December 16, 2015. Today, over 6 months later, the issues are still not resolved. My fiancée hit a deer while riding. He did not drop the bike. HD of A picked up the bike to take it in for an estimate. We stopped by a couple of days later to check on it. We took a few pictures of the damage. HD of A kept the bike for several weeks without completing the estimate. When the estimate was finally "complete", we chose to pick up the bike. We figured if an estimate took weeks, repairs would take months and we did not want to be without it for that long. When we picked up the bike, there was more damage than when it went into their shop. It was obvious that it had been dropped, there were scuffs on the pipes, highway bars and pegs. The spark plug wires had been removed from the bike (they said they did this to check out another bike). The saddlebags had deep and obvious scratches and scrapes that were not in the pictures we took a couple of days after the accident. It looked like they had been slid across concrete. They finally replaced the bags with inferior replacements. When I took the replacement bags back, Steve (the GM?) told me they would do nothing else for us and told me to "Have a nice day". LOL. I told him I planned to open a formal complaint with HD and post this message on every review website I can find. He accused me of holding them hostage?!? On top of all of this, the "professional estimate" that we paid $250+ for did not catch large amounts of damage, including a torn tab on the frame.
