I've been telling my friends about Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa ever since it opened in Charlotte! It is so relaxing and comfortable inside. It has the most comfortable heated tables!\r Massage is their specialty, but they also offer facials and waxing. If you become a member, you can get whatever service you'd like. I'm always treated like a valued customer when I go for my service. I will definitely continue being a repeat customer. LOVE IT!! more

I have had massages and facials all over the world, and I feel very lucky that Kimberly is in my backyard. She is a massage therapist as well as a esthetician, so her facials combine both the face and massage work. I've also had microdermabrasion which was great after the summer months. She's a one stop wonder! more

I first found Hand and Stone almost two years ago while searching for an affordable Brazilian. I was set up with Kimberly and I couldn’t have been happier. I have been getting facials, massages, and full Brazilian waxes for probably 4-5 years now, and she is by far the best! To top it off, Hand and Stone has had the best prices out of any place I’ve been. Kimberly does a fantastic job and I highly recommend her (especially for those scared to give waxing a try!). I just got my boyfriend a massage membership and he agrees, Kimberly is a step above the rest! I was a little skeptical about getting a massage for the first time, but was told by a friend it was the best place to go! So I tried it out and absolutely loved it! I was very nervous going in, being my first massage, but my therapist made me feel very comfortable. She was great along with the girls at the counter. Just south of Ballantyne this spa is in a convenient area. Relaxing & VERY clean environment. Kimberly Cook is my MOST favorite person to receive a facial from! Her technique is medicinal, and her calm aura is sedating (in a good way!!!). I""ve had so many facials over the years, and she is the best...and now my #1 favorite! I visited Hand & Stone their first week and spoke with Mark, one of the owners, about signing up. Having had a bad experience with a previous (different) monthly massage chain, I didn't want a repeat of the same experience here. Mark assured me that he'd set me up with a great massage therapist - and my first appointment was booked with Kimberly Cook. I knew I was in great hands the minute I met Kimberly. She is very friendly and calming, and so professional. I like to get very deep tissue sports massages, as I do a lot of cardio activity that tightens up my legs horribly. Kimberly may be tiny, but she knows how to really get in and work through any knots I have. And on days when I really just want a ""relaxation"" style massage, she's great about backing off the deep tissue and going for stress relief. Kimberly listens to what I need, and always gives me the best massage possible at each visit. Kimberly's also been very helpful in suggesting therapies (warm soaks, stretches) to help loosen up my knots outside of my visits as well. She has even made my husband a convert. He runs marathons and never used to get massages. Now he books massages with Kimberly as a part of his recovery after long runs, and thanks in part to regular massage therapy, he's running injury free for the first time in years. Kimberly may be the BEST reason to visit Hand & Stone, but the whole staff is professional and the environment is warm and welcoming. Kimberly is simply fantastic. more

I was nervous the first time I went to her, unsure of the procedure and the pain, but she made me feel so comfortable. She is professional and friendly, makes me feel comfortable every time. H&S has a secret, Kimberly Cook. She gives the best massage I've ever had. Her energy and ability to know what's wrong and how to work things out is just short of miraculous. She's also referred me to a chiropractor/acupuncturist who is just as awesome. I've been to many a chiropractor; this guy fixed me in two visits. What a team! In any event, Kimberly has consistently provided the most amazing massages and knows her stuff with facials, too. She never recommends anything that you don't need, like some estheticians are want to do. She believes in natural ingredients both inside and out. She knows that what you are consuming and going through on the inside manifest externally and she knows how to treat both. The results are fantastic if you follow her instructions. You would pay twice as much, if not more, in some places to get the knowledge and quality of care you get from Kimberly. I am sold and will not see anyone else. Don't leave, Kimberly! I went to Hand and Stone for a facial and I am impressed. The ambiance is serene, inviting, clean, friendly, and professional. Christylee was my aesthetician and it is by far the best facial I've ever had! I had the microdermabrasion treatment and it was the perfect combination of a result oriented treatment (my skin is glowing) and relaxtion. There was masks, massage, the microderm...the whole nine yards. Christylee is knowledgable and was able to customize the facial just for my skin. The microderm came with a full facial which was so wonderful! I was so comfortable I almost fell asleep! The girls were so nice, helpful and knowledgeable. I stopped in here because it is near my house and nail place. I was really pleasantly surprised - the price at this place can't be beat, and I got a really great brow shape and wax. Very gentle materials - hardly any redness at all and I can have very sensitive skin. I am going back again today. Love it! Pros: Great work, price, location Cons: None! more
