Hamburger Heaven

I was excited to hear that my favorite Hamburger and Breakfast spot in Palm Beach was coming to Clematis. The new location is beautiful, I love the outdoor seating and parking in WPB is much easier. They did not change their menu except to add more tasty sounding items. The fried chicken is my favorite!! I did notice they now sell wine and a wide variety of coffee. \r The staff was very friendly and the owner (I reconized her from the PB location) came over to see how everything was. My neighbors on the cape tell me about Hamburger Heaven in Hyannis. It closed down years ago but was operated by the same Florida staff in the summer, when winter came they moved to the Florida location. It has been closed down for decades but I've heard the mushroom swiss cheese burger was great. My sister owns the former location and the old sign and outdoor display menu were found when they bought the building in 1980. more

The Richie Rich's of the world show up in pastel polos and baseball hats. (I'm sure Bernie Madoff most likely frequented the place), but anyone can afford and anyone come. The reason you must come is that it is absolutely the best cheeseburger you will ever have in your entire life. Now, my family are a sort of cheeseburger connoisseur bunch. So, trust me, I've eaten cheeseburgers everywhere. I've even had a "cheeseburger in paradise", yes, the actual dive bar/restaurant that inspired Jimmy Buffet's huge hit. (More on that in another post). Since Jimmy Buffet now lives on Palm Beach, I'm sure the irony is not lost on him, as he sang about a "cheeseburger in paradise", but now he can have "hamburgers in heaven", and I am with him! Even the Rubens are fantastic. more

Really great diner right in the middle of Palm Beach ! The burgers, salads and grilled sandwiches are all great. The milkshakes are incredible and they had a large selection of cakes and pies! Really great place more

To begin, I am not a sleazy person who is in any way affliated with the delicious eatery who is writing this review. Don't be fooled by the the long line at HH and the fact that there are people sitting outside waiting for a table. Immediate seating is usually available at the counter. The burgers are tasty, for it is evident that they use fresh never frozen meat, and the buns are succulent and toasted to perfection. Don't go with the mediocre frozen yet crispy fries if you want a fabulous meal here, go with the homeade large basket of crispy on the outside but soft and sweet on the inside sweet potato fries. The pies could show some improvement however. The service is profeesional. more
