I have gone to this salon for services on three different occassions and have fairly enjoyed most of my visits. I would classify this as a family salon as on all of my visits there have been several children present. I have nothing against children, but when I go to a salon for services I want peace and quiet. This place doesn't provide that, but the stylist does a great job on my hair so I endure it. I have tried booking out appointments on different days at varying times, but still have not found a more relaxing and quiet time. The overall decor is nice but the salon layout is a little strange. The lighting could be improved upon and it would be nice if the refreshments weren't in front of the shampooing area. Having the refreshements in a high traffic area just doesn't seem very appetizing to me. Plus with all the children fingering over the cookies, I'd rather pass anyway. Also the stylist I've gone to is out on the main floor; therefore, it tends to be really noisy. For example, on one occasion the stylist at the station across from me talked really loudly the entire time, so I had to listen to her conversation with her client during my session. The receptionist has always been pleasant to work with though to schedule services and there is practically ever a wait time. I give the place a C+ overall. However, semiprivate styling stations, improved lighting, a better thought out refreshment area, and specific days for children services would take this place from a C+ to an A+ in my book!
Pros: Very Little Time Spent Waiting, Good Services Fairly Priced
Cons: Too Many Children, Not Very Quiet Or Relaxing
