we had been to las vegas two years ago and and ate several satisfactory meals here; they also made us two wonderful shabbot meals for nine of us, including everything down to challah and utensils, for a reasonable price and ample portions. i just returned from another trip there and went to haifa for our first meal. the food was delicious - i had scrumptious shwarma and my husband had schnitzel. but the best item was the babghanoush - BEST i ever had, and a huge portion - took back food to hotel for later. next night we went back - couldn't get the baba off my mind. i had the biggest schnitzel - rest of food was delish, too, and we had great dinner music - eric clapton blues event on tv with music; also soft neil diamond oldies. our server was excellent - older african-american gent - he even packed up our leftovers with plastic utensils - for the babaghanoush, of course, and other food. the place was clean, had linen tablecloths, and very fair prices - my shawarma was $18 with two sides, the schnitzel was also $18 with two sides, my hubby had mini roast -2 sides-$22, and the HUGE baba plate was $8, with plenty of pita. they also put some relish and olives on the table while you wait. it's a terrific restaurant - i was very impressed and can't wait to return.
