Hafen Nursery

My husband and I designed and contracted all landscaping in the front & back yards of our new home (this is the 3rd home we've done this with). Halfway through the process, we found Hafen's and are so glad we did. Don (owner) is SO adorable and helpful, and just like another review said, they will order anything you don't see on-site for an awesome price! We also ended up renting 15g queen palms, 5g jasmine stakes, and 5g jasmine bushes for our wedding and Hafen's charged less than half of what Star was going to charge us (and fantastic to work with). Seriously, check there before you check the rest; you'll be happy you did! Pros: Helpful & courteous staff, unbeatable value, and great quality! Cons: Not as ""fancy"" as Star, Moon Valley, Lowe's, or Home Depot; closed on Sundays more

Hafens has the best prices in town on any large or semi-large plants. From Mex. Fan Palms to Meditarranean Fans, Australian Bottle Trees, African Sumac, Carob... you name it. Half the cost of Star and way below the overpriced Moon VAlley Nursery. It's a no frills place to buy plants but the quality is high. If you don't see what you're looking for, just ask. They can get it at a price you won't believe. Pros: High Quality, great selection of big plants. Cons: Not well organized, Messy grounds, but you get a great price. Well worth it. more
