H&H Driving School

I'm not sure if the program changed over the years, but my experience with the school was great! The instructors are wonderful, with the right balance of firmness and sympathy when it comes to being a young driver. I was initially enrolled in a program through my high school that had 90 minutes of lecture and 90 minutes of driving (which was divided up between 4 students). Having gone through this program, I'm so glad I dropped out of my school's program. The material I would learn in a lecture was combined into the driving and it was magnificent. It wasn't too time-consuming, and with the help of the instructors, I went from a kid who was terrified to drive in parking lots to a pretty excellent young driver. My confidence was boosted literally in a day (I went from a parking lot to the highway--MASSIVE improvement). It took me only 5 lessons to get everything right. Take it from someone who took this class in 2013, what I experienced was NOTHING like the comments from 5, 6, 7 years ago. Would absolutely recommend everyone to sign up for this driving school! more

Hey everybody! I recently purchased the services of H&H Driving School, and to be honest, the experience was amazing. I requested an early appointment and my driving instructor (Joy Levine) arrived right on time! I don't know what the other reviews are saying, because quite honestly they make no sense. Joy is a wonderful person as well as an amazing driving instructor. I also had one other instructor (male) whose name I cannot recall, but just like Joy he was fun to learn and drive with. I would highly recommend any new driver to utilize H&H's services and to discard all of the other reviews that stated things that are highly rediculous or just plain stupid. I was very happy with the expierence that H & H driving school provided me with. Joy made my first time driving an expierence to never forget. She made it fun and less nervous. Being a driving instructor isn't an easy job. Give her a break. I was very happy with them and I request them to everyone I know. And they too are all happy with them. Pros: Good more

Jack,\r Apparently, you are a child who's parents do not even know you wrote this review, or you are related to Joy Levine herself. \r \r As a concerned parent, I am attempting to warning parents about this instructor. If you actually paid any attention to our review, you could clearly see that she is not fit to deal with young teens. Show your parents my review and then hopefully, they will inform you that just because you had a good experience, it was probably due to the pending alligations we (as concerned parents) are waiting to resolve. \r \r Your so called ""GREAT "" experience Jack, was at the expense of my son's experience. (law suit ???? Could she actually be doing the right thing???? the court will decide!!!! Think about it Jack????\r \r Hopefully, she will no longer be able to deal with young teens. \r \r My son most definitely does not need another driving lesson, but your parents apparently do if they permitted you to respond to this after reading my review. I highly disagree with any of the reviews below, not only was my experience fantastic but Joy was great. The lessons flew by, and we talked the entire time. I never thought I would be able to parallel park, and she had me doing it flawlessly right away. Maybe to the reviewer below, your son needs another lesson or two if he crashed the ""worthless"" car"" :) 5 out of 5! Highly Recommeded Pros: GREAT more

ALERT! ALERT! ALERT! ALERT!\r \r ON MAY 26, 2008 H & H DRIVING WAS CONTRACTED TO PREP STUDENT DURING WHICH TIME HE WAS VERBALLY ABUSED BY JOY LEVINE, WITH THE F**** WORD OVER 30 TIMES. MADE TO REPAIR TIRE ON WORTHLESS CAR USED FOR SESSION. INSTRUCTOR CLOSED EYES AND PUT HEAD BACK DURING SESSION, STOPPED AT TWO STORES FOR GROCERIES. CHARGES WERE LODGED AGAINST INSTRUCTOR AND SCHOOL. DON'T LET YOUR CHILD USE THIS SERVICE. WITH ANY LUCK THE JUDGE WILL FINED HER UNFIT TO BE AN INSTRUCTOR. ALSO DMV WAS NOTIFIED AND IS INVESTING THE MATTER. more

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS. They have caller ID and purposely ignored my calls because I was deeply dissatisfied with the way they cancelled appointments and wanted my money back. Of course they wouldn't call me back so now I'm working to get their business closed. Pros: NONE!!!! Cons: Much more expensive than other schools, disgusting teachers more

The receptionists were nice, but one of the drivers definitely could not keep track of her appointments and had a tantrum over the phone when she called to ask if I could meet her for a lesson in an hour and I couldn't. more

they can't keep appointments. they canceled 5 times, and the teachers are NOT punctual! more
