H & H Photographers

I have been to many New York and California black tie weddings. My family and I have never seen such amazing photography as H&H. They captured every moment AND perfect pictures of EVERY person at the wedding. You feel as though you are in the wedding when wathcing the pictures from all of the emotions that was captured. All the pictures look like I just walked out of a magazine front cover. THANK YOU H&H!!! more

We went ahead with H&H for our wedding in July of 2010. We had Eric. The poses he had us do were super unnatural and...not having been married before we did not get all the pictures we needed with typical family members. We really would have liked some guidance since as the groom with my new bride: there was no way we would have remembered who we need for photos. Then came the photos and video. Blah! Our friends took way better pictures in both quality and poses! The video was like something from 1980. Static and horrible audio. Again- better stuff came from our family than the videographer. Our friend got married in October and we are now seeing their videos and photos. Our friends used non-fulltime photo/videographers and got 200% better quality than we did with H&H. Sigh. more

H & H Photographers will not disappoint. Johnny was our photographer for our wedding, and he was amazing. He made everyone feel comfortable with his good sense of humor, and laid back style. At the same time he was extremely professional and our wedding proofs are beautiful. Johnny is very creative, and I loved the posed photos as well as the candid shots. Out of about 800 proofs, I was thrilled with 90% of them. I would highly recommend them for any special occasion. more

From the beginning H & H listened to what we were looking for and provided us with Robert, an excellent photographer, who realized our vision. Every picture he took was wonderful! My husband and I have a fabulous collection of pictures that capture all the emotion, excitement and joy of our wedding. H & H Photographers were highly recommended to us by friends. We hired H & H for our wedding, 10/06/07 at the Glen Cove Mansion, L.I. Robert, our photographer, was excellent. I spent several hours reviewing Bar Mitzvah albums to choose a photographer for our son's Bar Mitzvah. I signed a contract, gave a deposit, and noted the photographer on the contract. Just before the Bar Mitzvah, H & H called to tell me that a 'good client' had requested my photographer for their daughter's wedding and they were going to give it to them. THey told me to come back to the studio to choose another. I told them that I had a terminally ill father, didn't have the time to do so, and besides, I signed a contract with my desired photographer. That's who I wanted. I asked them to tell the wedding group to choose another photographer, after all, they came much later than I did. H & H was rude, didn't care, showed no compassion at the unfortunately timing (both with the Bar Mitzvah just ahead and my dad terminally ill). They just plain didn't care. I would n't recommend them to anyone. THere are plenty of other great photographers around!! more

My husband and I hired H & H Photographers for our wedding at Chelsea Piers, NYC on March 10, 2007. Our experience with H & H was superb from beginning to end. They are highly professional, creative, experienced and reliable. They did everything we asked of them and more. Our album and video blew us away and is more than we could have ever hoped for! We are so thankful that will be able to enjoy our wedding memories forever, thanks to H & H Photographers fantastic work. I would strongly recommend H & H Photographers for any type of event. more

They took my wedding photos. I was to have some posed and some photo-journalistic images. Before my event, during my meeting with them, I presented to them a list of specific family pictures I wanted taken. They told me,""We don't work from lists; we are professionals."" as if I insulted them. Of course when they event was finished, they left out some important family pictures. There was no picture of the bride alone with her family; no picture of the bride with the getleman of honor; and they entirely missed one table of the groom's first cousins. They said that if we gave them our own photos, they would include them in the album. So we did. Those pictures stand out obviously as poor quality and ruin the album. Maybe they should be more professional and work from lists. The other pictures, the ones they actually took, were good quality. more

I absolutely loved H&H Photography! My husband and I enjoyed our wedding so much that we were worried that we wouldn't have any pictures because we really didn't pose for any; however, our photographer was so great that he really captured the essense of our special day. Everyone who looks through my album all say of what a great job they did. They were creative, reliable, and very professional. I would use them again for my next function. The 'professional' forgot to change out multiple rolls of film. Didn't capturing ANY shots of families, bridal party or cutting the cake. They gave us a 'discount' and some extra prints but we should have gotten our money back! They assured us they would make it ok - they didn't. We had to supply ALL missing pictures - they didn't even make negatives of these - they just copied/enlarged the prints - like you could do at a drugstore. We finally received the album 17 months later - horrible! Our family picture only contains 1/2 of the family as the other half was cropped out, picures were reversed and they wouldn't do retouching even though from their own proof!! The DVD has 2 seperate areas of static. We contacted H&H to see if they would correct the album at a minimum - their response - they're done with our transaction. Pros: none Cons: poor customer service, poor quality of prod , horrible pictures more
