We bought a 3 piece baby set and they failed to deliver one of the pieces. We decided to cancel the order for the un-delivered piece only and they charged us a 25% restocking fee. THEY NEVER DELIVERED THE PIECE. In trying to work this out I was told that I had no choice I'd pay the fee and they hung up on me! BBB here I come. more

What a great place to buy any piece of furniture. If you are searching for a crib, nursery, or children's furniture this is the place to shop. Prices range on cribs from $200-$1300 depending what you are looking for. The difference between this furniture store and others is the fact that all pieces are safety tested for children. We purchased a Munire crib and the owner cut us a great deal. We got exactly what we wanted at a very reasonable price. If you think the furniture at Babies R' Us is flimsy and not well built you're right and you need to look here. This place comes highly recommended and we will be back soon! more

We had no clue where we were going to find baby furniture. Babies R Us just seemed like cheap stuff and we didn't want to pay a fortune. I stumbled across Guys and Dolls Furniture and I'm SOOO happy I did! This place is perfect for finding baby furniture and kid furniture. The knowledge of the staff was great and everyone was so helpful. We ended up working directly with the owner, Jason, and he was so great to work with. He helped work out a deal for us that was affordable for quality furniture. I feel so comfortable with our purchase and can't wait to set up our baby nursery. I would disagree with the markings that it is expensive. Of course, it all depends on what you buy but the products they have range from lower end to upper end but at least there is a huge selection to choose from. I will definitely be back for our future kids. Don't buy furniture from anywhere else without checking Guys and Dolls out first! Pros: So much to choose from more

After having to cancel our order at the "other baby & kids store" because our Munire furniture never came (after 16 weeks we were still being told "it will be in on the next truck"), I placed a call to Guys & Dolls to ask about their delivery time frame. I was expecting to hear that we would have to wait 8+ weeks for delivery of the dresser and hutch we wanted for our son's room. Much to my surprise, I was asked to hold while they checked stock on the pieces we wanted. I was even more amazed that the dresser was in stock and could be delivered within the week. This was so great for us because we were awaiting the arrival of our second child and because of the delay at the other place we were down to the wire (as in days). I placed my order over the phone and the dresser was delivered 4 days later. Not only that, our sales associate checked with his manager and they have only charged us one delivery fee even though they will be making a second trip to our home when the hutch comes into the store. Though we never made it to the store, our sales associate was very compassionate about our situation and did everything possible to get our pieces to us and to help dissipate the stress caused by our experience with the other store. My faith in customer service is restored and I will forever be a loyal customer to Guys & Dolls! Pros: Great service Cons: none more

After waiting 20 weeks for nursery furniture from another store (8 weeks longer than we were told it would take), we called Guys and Dolls to see if they could provide better service. Not only were they super nice on the phone (Thanks Jason!), but they had the exact furniture we wanted in stock. We handled the transaction over the phone and three days later everything was delivered to our house, assembled, and boxes removed. Not only did they match the price of the store where we originally tried to buy the furniture, but they were very reasonable about the delivery, as well. So I would like to give Guys and Dolls Furniture 5 *'s! Recently my Wife and I had our first child but before that we did some shopping around for some Munire kids furniture. Initially she had picked out a set for Baby World at a decent price and was quoted 8-12 weeks on the product. Its tough enough for her being pregnant but then come to find out it turned out that we had to wait even longer then 12 weeks! 13 then 14 then 15 weeks! I finally had to say something and got the order canceled. So we went over to Guys and Dolls in Aurora....not only did they have the set we wanted in stock but they beat their price and even did all the delivery and setup within a week for only 80 bucks! The staff was very helpful and I would recommend them to anyone who is expecting or has little ones. Thank you guys so much for everything and we'll definitely be back! We stopped by most of the baby furniture stores in the metro area including the big chains and found Guys and Dolls had the highest quality furniture and the best selection. We found a crib we liked then searched online for price comparisons, Guys and Dolls was very competitive. Weeks later when we went in to pick up the furniture, we found that the manufacturer was having a sale on the set. The owner worked with us to make up the difference by offering us store credit or a discount on a future purchase. We left the store very satisfied knowing that he didn't have to do anything for us. We were so impressed that we bought a glider and ottoman that day. We would not consider shopping elsewhere for children furniture. Pros: customer service, high quality, good selection more

After visiting all of the local nursery furniture stores, we decided to purchase our nursery furniture and glider rocker from Guys and Dolls because of their excellent customer service, knowledge, and that they had the crib and dresser we wanted in stock. I was so impressed with the customer service at Guys and Dolls. There was a manufacturing issue with the mattress cover I purchased. Whereas most stores would have made me deal directly with the manufacturer, Guys and Dolls exchanged the product with no problems or hassles and dealt with the manufacturer themselves. I recently purchased a BOB stroller from guys and dolls and was not completely happy with the model I chose. HOWEVER, Guys and Dolls let me exchange it which they usually don't allow and didn't charge me a restocking fee. They wanted to make sure I was happy with my purchase. This is why I keep coming back. Four years ago we purchased a childs bedroom set from here because of selection. Our expectations of the furniture have been met, but four years later have been reminded of what a poor customer service experience we had then beacause of the bad experience we had this week. We have been trying to purchase a new hardware kit for a crib that we bought four years ago. Our experience has been less than encouraging. We've had such argumentitive and condisending comunication through the management, and have been told by warehouse management to "just buy a new crib lady". This after we were told that it shouldn't be a problem to retro fit hardware for this crib! This has been nothing but a big headache and we are left with only a bad experience to pass along. more

My husband and I had a great experience at Guys & Dolls Furniture. I have never seen so many cribs and so much cool kids furniture. We found a beautiful nursery set right in our price range.
