1 star is as low as permitted. I was a former patient here and for a while I was a happy patient, even with the very long wait times at the clinic. Since Dr Justice retired, the clinic has gone downhill with regards to patient care and friendly staff.
I believe Lou Ann, CRNP, means well and has great intentions, but things do not get done even if she repeatedly promises otherwise. Her nurse is seriously overworked and the receptionist is not the friendliest person one will meet. The waiting room is uncomfortable and the last time I was there, it could use a serious cleaning. Not that it is filthy, just most stuff gets a "lick and a promise" and sometimes a thorough scrub is in order.
This clinic sees (or did see) a lot of patients and the CRNP is pulled too thin to verify that ordered off-site tests are actually ordered, thus the patient may never get the tests done. The receptionist is icy and frequently rude. The time a patient is in the clinic is very long, even with everyone having an appointment. If Lou Ann tells you, the patient, to call the office to speak to her personally, it is not going to happen -- you WILL get stonewalled by the receptionist/office manager.
Eventually, after "reading the writing on the wall", I found another health care provider with whom I am much happier. At this time, I cannot and do not recommend this clinic to any new patient and for current patients, I strongly recommend getting a copy of your own records and verifying any and all information received from Lou Ann or anyone else in the clinic regarding your health care, but I have to admit, that is advice for any patient, whether at this clinic or at any other.
At one time, I would have said this was a great clinic, except for the way-too-long-waiting times, but not anymore. Not sure what caused it, but the quality of care received here has seriously gone downhill in the last three years or so.
