Best

Audience choice should be the Guggenheim - a world-class museum in Las Vegas.

Nice Outing! 11/8/2002

We visited when they had the Motorcycle exhibit and it was phenomenal. It was a nice outing. I wish I could have taken pictures, but it was worth every penny. Go to Madame Tousseaus while you are there. It's right next door in the Venetian and it too is breathtaking for the entire family. I think all ages like Touseaus, while the Museum is not necessarily for young children. Pros: Great collections more

Don't Miss This Museum 8/16/2002

WOW WOW WOW Bikes, Bikes Bikes...even if you don't like motorcycles, you will still have the time of your life. more

Grazie to Guggenheim 8/15/2002

A great addition to Las Vegas' growing culture...architecture, ambiance, art.... who could ask for more!!! It's a great honor to have a name like Guggenheim here. more

jaw dropping!! 8/14/2002

if you like motorcycles, this is the exhibit to see... the space is filled well with over 125 motorcycles and Frank Gehry installation, my jaw fell to the floor as i walked in the entrance and saw motorcycles 5 times my age.. and their retail shop has great items to purchase @ great prices... this is a must see exhibit!!!!AA++ more

Exquisite! 8/13/2002

The architecture of the space is breathtaking in The Art of the Motorcycle. This exhibition is truly representative of the progression of the motorcycle. 123 BIKES!!!! From the steam engine run all the way to concept bikes. I don't even like motorcycles and I was in awe. The Guggenheim Hermitage is one of the best museums I have visited in the world. It offers a representation of the period of impressionism through early modern that is not overwhelming in size, yet provides more than enough works to really sink your teeth into. The audio guide is interesting and provides fresh new perspectives to looking at the work. more

It's About Time 8/10/2002

I have been impressed with my visits to the Guggenheim. It is long overdue in Las Vegas, and I find it exciting that right in the middle of the strip there is this wonderful art museum. I hope more people will take the time to visit the museum and view the quality exhibits that are there. Pros: inexpensive, accesible, ambience more

Outstanding 8/9/2002

Outstanding is an understatement for the quality of the exhibitions. This is a must for all people that visit or live in Las Vegas. more

Way too cool 8/9/2002

I have never been a motorcycle fan but this exhibition has made me a believer. What an incredible display! Be sure to allow plenty of time. Don't miss the 35 ton door! It's 70 feet tall. Wow Pros: Great value, Friendly staff, Not crowded Cons: Venetian parking more

TWO ""TRUE"" Museums on the Strip 8/8/2002

I saw both Guggenheim Museums ('non-profits' not just galleries!) and was satisfied and impressed. The Museums are actually trying to change the face of Vegas...not just present showy works like Bellagio Gallery. I enjoyed the art and the motorcycles both (mostly because of the incredible Frank Gehry work inside) and was happy to see that the shows will change so that I can visit every time I come to Vegas. Pros: Options - 2 Museums, Audio Guide, Intelligent Exhibits Cons: No photography, No drinks more

Breathtaking! 8/7/2002

It's amazing to have this caliber of museum in the city of Las Vegas. The Guggenheim has not one but two museums, each one breathtaking in its own right. Architecture, fine art, and a fun atmosphere combine to provide a not-to-be-missed experience! more

Catchy! 8/7/2002

Great venue to present monumnetal works of art and history! A must see! more

WOW 8/6/2002

This show left me breathless. To gather these Masters of art in one place (and of all places Vegas baby ya!)is unbelievable. Bravo to the staff of the Guggenheim!!! more

OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!! 8/6/2002

what a great place to visit lots of Masaterpieces to see this exhibit and gallery took my breath away! A must see for all! more

Finally Culture!!!! 8/6/2002

Friendly, warm staff, who do a wonderful job dealing with the multi-cultural guests that visit our fair city. Exhibits are well done in beautiful rooms, that really add to the ambience of the expierence. A true musuem, a non-profit with a world wide history and reputation. Unlike lining the pockets of the MGM Grand and Steve Wynn with our hard earned money. Pros: great rooms, architecture wonderfu, well lit Cons: It is in the Venetian, lack of signage, security at parking more

MUST SEE! 8/5/2002

The museum was outstanding and offers a little something for everyone. The fine art is for those who need a little culture and the motorcycles are for the grease monkeys in your family. I loved it! more

True culture has finally arrived 8/5/2002

Don't let the dissapionting Bellagio museum keep you from making your way down the strip to the Guggenheim. My friend and I had seen quite a few ads for the Bellogio museum in the airplane publications, needless to say we were excited to visit. The museum is small, cramped, and very dissapionting thus I was weary to try the Guggenheim. (my friend actually went back to her room due to the fact she did not want to waist her time on another ""bad"" museum) To my surprise the Guggenheims' Masterpeice impressionist exhibit was superb! What a great collection. I am an Art Professor and was amazed at the peices the Guggenheim has on display. I can't wait to see the motorcycle exhibit when I return to Las Vegas in October. more
