Top notch hall - The War Memorial 4/25/2006

I was priviledged enough to go here several times for different wedding receptions. Gorgeous mansion that sits on Lake St. Clair in the very prestigious Grosse Pointe. Inside the enormous hall there are windows facing the lake for a stunning view. You can actually go outside in the warmer months. Figure on spending a mega fortune to rent this one out. Will definitely leave a big impression! more

Wonderful Place for an Event 11/10/2005

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial. I can't say enough about the wonderful facility and staff. GPWM is such a rare gem. You will not meet a staff more dedicated to a building and community. You will not find a community more focused on its citizens. GPWM sits on a breathtaking piece of property. The food was wonderful. The gardens are well cared for and stunning. If you are looking for a place to hold an event, anything from a wedding to a book club to a shower, stop looking and go to GPWM now! more
