I was referred to Grooming Gallery by my vet. My cat has long, cottony hair that ended up being horribly matted, so I took her in to get her shaved. I was hesitant to do so because I'm not fond of the ""lion cut."" When I dropped Cleo off, they were really nice and told me it would take about 5 hours since they hadn't seen her before and they didn't know how she was going to behave. I had asked them to use fragrance-free shampoo because our other cat freaks out and attacks Cleo for days whenever we have to take her out of the house--I thought we'd be better off with as few new smells as possible. When I picked up Cleo 3 hours later, they had done what I'd asked, leaving her fluffy tail untouched and leaving the hair on her legs. They did a good job on the cut, clipped her claws, cleaned her ears and brushed her teeth. When we got home, I noticed a very perfumey smell. Two days later, she still has a really strong perfumey smell. I am pleased with the service to the point that I would recommend them, but I will only take Cleo back if they can guarantee that they will not use products with strong fragrance. This is a personal preference to save the sanity of our home, so I hope they can....
Pros: Nice people, pretty good cut, reasonalby priced
