Average at best. 3/11/2008

The Green Frog is average at best. If you want to drink at a a place that looks like your friend's basement in high school, then go here. Nothing really to offer. No jukebox. No pool. No place for bands. A random dart board just thrown by the bathroom. And on a busy night, the line at the bar is three people deep. The bartenders are pleasant though. There are plenty of other places in the valley if you want a cheap bar vibe. more

Great crowd, Something for everyone 6/16/2007

This place is great, I've been to this bar twice and it's my new favorite local dive bar! My girlfriends and I love this place, everyone there is friendly and down to earth. You don't get the typical pretentious crowd you find in hollywood, no one is too cool to start up a conversation with you. It's got a juke box, pool table, darts, and a couple of those video game machines, something for everyone. The only thing it's missing is dancing, there's an area for dancing, but no takers the 2 times I've been there. more

Editorial
  • In Short
With Victorian parlor-patterned green wallpaper, vinyl booths and neatly hung beer signs, this upbeat, Valley pub is the epitome of a down-the-street hangout. During the week, a steady after-work crowd comes early and stays late to unwind with happy hour-priced drinks and good-natured conversation. Laid-back locals drink Guinness and shoot pool, while area college students blast classic rock from the jukebox. On weekends, bleary-eyed hair-of-the-doggers sip cocktails while sports fans watch games on TV and share rounds of beer.
