Great Wall

We get Chinese take-out from the Great Wall at least twice per month. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. The Great Wall has a large selection of typical Chinese food menu items. My favorites are the Sesame Chicken and lo mein, depending on my mood. Whenever we call to place an order at the Great Wall, they recognize my husband's voice (he calls) and know what he typicallyorders too. They are friendly and accomodating both on the phone and in person. The food is always ready when we arrive. We live about 15 minutes from the place and they always say it will be ready in 15-20 minutes. They pack everything very well using cardboard dividers when things are especially hot. When we get the food home, it is always still very warm and everything is tasty. They have never messed up an order yet and we sometimes make special requests! I am feeling hungry now!!! We get take out food from The GREAT WALL at least twice per month. It's funny because when my husband calls to order, the lady that answers the phone knows his voice and can tell him his order before he orders it (we almost always get the same thing!). If he is going to place a different order, he has to say right away that this ordre will be different so she doesn't start placing our regular order! The food is very good at this take out Chinese restaurant. Everything always tastes very fresh and is cooked to order. My husband doesn't eat pork so when he gets a combination dinner that includes fried rice, he always asks that they substiture vegetable fried rice for the pork fried rice and they are very accomodating with this special request. Whenever we order food here, we wind up with so much food that there is often leftovers for the next day. That is because they give us so much food for an order of anything. I like that they are very generous. The prices here are reasonable too. For as good as the food is, the prices are definitely right. In addition, the service is friendly and always very quick. Even when they are busy, they do not take too long to get the order ready for us. I would recommend this great restaurant for take out Chinese food! more
