As a resident of Grand Valley Village for 10 years, I can unequivically tell you the park is not up to the previous standards. Because it is privately owned, basically, any complaint will have to be given to the park manager. Word of caution - please do not expect results within the first year of 20 requests. That is your one and only recourse. Case in point, faulty street lights that have not worked for months, others that do not work during a rain and for days after. I am assuming they must dry out. With the high gas prices, people have chosen to purchase yard games, stay at home, cook out, etc . . . Even though ample yard space is available behind the trailors for yard games, this area is not safe to use because of partially hidden old metal cable. These cable have and are capable of causing injury resulting in a tetanus shot, stitches, etc . . . Not to mention the deteriorating wooden posts scattered thru ought the park supporting rusted, exposed metal boxes that house decades old wiring. Branches are not picked up regularly, potholes large enough to flatten a tire. Why did I give it a 2 star rating and not a one - after 2 days of treacherous winter driving conditions, the streets were plowed allowing cars to back out of their driveway.
Pros: Accessable to major city streets
Cons: Easy to leave - disappointing to return to
