Great Place to Train and Get in Shape !! 10/7/2010

Awesome place to learn and train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. A very structured program and helpful instructors, coaches and training partners set this place aside from the rest. I have trained there for almost a year and have only hungered to learn more and improve. Great for getting in shape and improving your overall health. Come check it out!! more

True Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy 9/11/2010

I have been training at Gracie Barra for about 2 1/2 years now. I have got my whole family training. ( My wife, son age 8 and daughter age 6) This is a place to learn self defense,self respect, respect, and honor. Professor Bill is a great teacher and has a teaching style that is very easy to work with. Not only is he a great teacher but a great mentor and great friend. He treats every student as if we were his blood family! ( you cant find that every ware ). The atmosphere is a great place, very good attitudes and everybody is always willing to help out. I recommend anyone who wants to learn TRUE brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to come train at Gracie Barra Rohnert Park you wont be disappointed. Hope to see you on the Mat!!! more

Excellent Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu School 9/4/2010

I first heard about Gracie Barra Rohnert Park about three years ago from a friend who started training there. The more I talked to him the more I realized that maybe I should check out the school that has everyone saying great things. From the first time I walked in and met with Professor Bill I knew that I wanted to be a part of the Gracie Barra Family and his Academy. I have now been training about 10 months and my physical fitness, diet, and lifestyle has been dramatically improved and I feel great! I look forward to classes every week and spend much of my time researching the internet about Brazilian Jui-Jitsu. I truly believe that I have been blessed with the opportunity to train under Professor Bill, a 2x world champion and 5x Brazilian champion. more

A great place to train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 9/3/2010

I would highly recommend Gracie Barra Rohnert Park. I've been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu here for about a year and a half and earned my blue belt in January of this year. I have improved my overall health and I feel great. Professor Aparecido Faria Bill and his instructors deliver excellent instruction. Professor Bill is highly knowledgeable in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and he teaches in an environment that really makes you feel comfortable. Everyone here is super nice and looking to help. The academy is run with a family-like and friendly atmosphere. It is truly world class instruction by someone who cares deeply about his students and promoting the positive aspects of marital arts such as character development, respect, and honor. more

best bjj academy around 9/2/2010

I've been training at this academy for about a year and half now and I absolutely love it. It offers the highest quality instruction, but the atmosphere is very comfortable, friendly and ego free. I can remember when I first started I was literally shaking I was so nervous, but everyone was very supportive, and since then I've come a long way in my jiu jitsu game and self-defense, and I'm more confident overall. more

Looking for Jio Jitsu - or just a good workout? 8/31/2010

Gracie Barra Rohnert Park is a great place to come and learn a traditional martial art. You really get to enjoy many of the traditional aspects of jiu-jitsu in a very welcoming and supportive environment. Really feels like a group of friends getting together. It's also a great place to get a workout like you've never had before. Definately worth a look - take a free class and see what you think. more

Great academy to train Jiu Jitsu 8/28/2010

This is a great place to train at all levels of Jiu Jitsu. They have advanced and fundamentals classes, women's classes, kid's classes and MMA training for Blue belts and above. Professor Bill is a 3rd degree black belt under Carlos Gracie Jr. The staff and students are friendly, so don't be intimidated to start. I used to sit on my couch, with a beer in my hand every afternoon...now I train and am in great shape. It changed my life and for that I am grateful. more
