Look no further. Best Italian food in the Valley. Ask the customers who are there when you go in. The customers will tell you. This is a gem. Unfortunately, they are not open for lunch anymore. But dinner is solid. more

Fantastic food and fast friendly delivery. I have been ordering here for years, and the people are always friendly and helpful. Delivery is always ahead of the promise time, sometimes by 30 minutes! Very dependable. more

New York Pizza in Los Angeles. Some said it could not be done. But Gourmet has Pizza just like I get when I visit family back home. It's the sauce. It's the crust. It's just like home. Thanks. more

Great food - excellent Red Velvet Cake 3/3/2010

Our employer used to order from Gourmet on the Go every week, until the recession hit, and now we try to visit at least once or twice a month. The salads are very fresh and creative. Walnuts, pears and gorgonzola cheese are a taste treat you just have to try. We have ordered the Calzones and the Pizzas and never been disappointed. Lots of toppings and cheese. Recently, they have started selling a home made Red Velvet Cake. We ordered a whole cake for everyone to share and it was gone in minutes. Not a crumb left for me to take home. Not a stylish place for a date. The dining room is small and sparse, but the food is killer for take out or delivery. Highly recommended. Pros: Yummy Red Velvet Cons: No parking more

I have eaten here about a dozen times, Food has always been great. Just ordered it again and saw that it appeared someone has an agenda against this place. I marked them down for service because they like to deliver my food without utensils not because anyone in particular is rude. Pros: Great food Cons: questionable service more

Great Hidden Find 1/2/2008

I ordered the Walnut Gorgonzola Pear Salad and the Veggie-Minestrone (forgot the name) for pick up. I was very impressed with both. I must have passed this place tons of times and never even noticed it was there. Everything tasted really fresh and homemade. It even came with really good seasoned-garlic rolls and gourmet crackers. This was my first time here and I'll definitely be coming back to try other items - looks like they specialize in some really good looking pizzas. Check out the pictures on their website more

Best homemade pizza in the SFV 7/26/2006

Thin crust NY style pizza - homemade dough and sauce - just love it - they have a great lunch deal that for $6.95 you get 2 good slices a salad and a drink - if you enjoy calzones and pizza - this is the place. I have only tried 1 ravioli - not too shabby - the pastas are delicious - can you tell I am a regular??? Their homemade soups - mushroom barley and tuscan bean are not too bad either. BEST CALZONES and TO GO ITALIAN in the Valley 10/22/2005

I've been a patron of Gourmet on the Go since it's opening - by accident - since I used to go to the pizza place that occupied the location before Gourmet on the Go. Boy am I glad I tried this spot! If you want some excellent Italian food on the go, this is HANDS DOWN THE BEST. I've had pretty much everything and have yet to be disappointed. I'm Italian and from Jersey, so, as you can imagine my expecations are pretty high for quick and good Italian food. This place has unbelieveable calzones, sandwiches, fries, salads, and pizza. Pizza is definitely not as good as the other options. All portions are HUGE so be ready to eat! Highly recommended for those in the area. Great for staying in and watching a game with some good food. Pros: Great Food, Good Selection, Large Portions more
