Gorgeous Gowns and Wedding Dresses

Okay so this is a couple years later than most comments,But I enjoyed the store. Th staff is not going to KISS your butt and be phony like some of the Bridal Boutiques. Come on you're looking for your wedding gown (in some cases) and you don't need someone to help you with every step during that process. If you do I feel sorry for you. Seriously, go into the store not expecting anything. Yes, do so, but the sales associates ARE there to help you out. Judy was wonderful. She was real, not phony and honest. For all of you out there do NOT rule that place out. Especially if you want to save some $. If you like the idea of recycled dresses, giving back to a small independent store, enjoy consignment anyway....try this store out. One more thing, they do not just carry used dresses....they have some dresses with the tags still on. The dress i bought was new and never used. Someone bought it and nerved used it and consigned it. So what? You're getting married this one time and going to wear the dress for what...6 hours? more

After many long days of shopping, my daughter found the wedding gown of her dreams - then got it home and decided it needed a make-over! So she went to the big Bridal Exposition for the purpose of finding a seamstress experienced enough to take on this daunting task - and found Judy Reeder, who's affiliated with this shop. This shop makes elegance affordable!! I don't know about you, but I only wear a formal gown once or twice, and the prices for new gowns are outrageous............I have bought my last three dresses at Gorgeous Gowns and people have raved about the gown I was wearing. Twice it was for a Christmas party - same time of year I really need all the extra money I have for gifts, donations, etc...I was able to wear something that made me feel spectacular for a fraction of the usual cost. And get this, you can take your dress back and re-consign it! If you're a bargain hunter, you will LOVE this place!!!! It's also a beautiful shop and the service was friendly and professional. TWO THUMBS UP!! more

What a wonderful place do to business! The owner, Nancy, made me feel like I knew her my whole life. She is such a pleasant person to work with. I couldn't get myself to leave, as there were so many beautiful things to look at. She offers such a wide array of products and services. Check out her beautiful wedding pictures she has photographed while there ....such a creative mind. The staff was so accommodating, and her gowns are absolutely gorgeous. She has sure given her store the right name. You will be more than pleased at her fairness and professionalism. I will be back again and again! Do not take your items here to sell as you are sure to be SCREWED. GG does not honor their contracts, they do not adhear to their own written terms. You are better off donating your items and claiming a tax write off or keeping your items, they are worth more than the pennies you will receive. And by the way GG will feel free to lower the selling price and not notify you, so BEWARE no matter how nice they appear. more
