I have had my car repaired here twice once in 2010 for alternator and just recent in 2012 - And I will say the service is SUPERB - I originally went in for my wheel bearings to be replaced but my carburators went bad ..So I had them replaced I did not tell the mechanic about my bearings He told me he had to take the car for a test ride to see if carbs worked well - JAVIER LUNA is the best Auto Technician in Wicker Park bar none If there was a local award I would place my vote for him more

MY CAR WAS DENTED HERE! Beware of this place. 8/2/2008

I took my car for a minor maintenance procedure. When I returned home from picking up my car from Gomez, I noticed a large dent over one of my wheel wells. When I went back and confronted the owner, he confessed that another customer had backed into my car. They had seen the incident and gotten his insurance information, but they decided not to say anything to me when I picked up my car! (I had a scratch on the side from a CTA bus scraping against my car and they were all hoping I wouldn't notice a large dent!) Pros: Convenient location Cons: Dishonest more
