Not Recommended 2/5/2007

I have belonged to golds gym and only signed up for a year membership, my father became ill and passed away. However they are crooks and keep charging my credit card! The ladies locker room was always a mess! I have belonged to other gyms and have never ever been treated so rude by there personnell. I would not recommend this gym to anyone. As they have been reported to the AG Office. They have no compassion for there members and they are only out for the almight dollar! I have since signed up at another gym in Arlington where I can say that there staff there has been very friendly and helpful!!!! Pros: Great Classes! Cons: Poor Customer Service, not very clean more

Don't go there!!! 1/1/2007

I belonged to Gold?s for two years. They began taking member photos; I objected on privacy grounds. I was assured by a staff member that as a long-standing member who went to the gym daily and was well known there, I did not have to provide a picture. Pros: Indivdual instructors are great. Cons: Management is not concerned with member satisfaction. Facility is often filthy. more

DO NOT SIGN UP HERE! 10/26/2006

This is the worst gym I have ever belonged to. The staff could care less about their customers, and often turn the T.V.'s, etc. off 30 minutes before closing...while you are watching them. They also make it impossible to cancel. I had to pay for 2 additional months because they would not let me cancel at the gym, and then returned my cancellation letter b/c it was not certified mail. DO NOT SIGN UP HERE. you will regret it. Pros: Nice Facility...that's it. Cons: Everything. more

Go somewhere else 10/3/2006

While the facility is nice and there is plenty of equipment and you don't usually have to wait, the service staff at this organization is a major deterrent. Unhelpful and unavailable sums it up. And cancelling a membership is an ordeal. Plan for four months to cancel, plus a huge cancellation fee. There are plenty of other gyms in the area. Choose one of them, I certainly will.
