Yes, a gym is a gym (and this one has all the needed equipment), but customer service still counts in my book. That's where this Gold's Gym falls short. I was given one amazing pep talk when they signed me up and then was ignored (as I checked in most employees wouldn't even end their conversations to greet me or offer a smile) as their average customer until my membership was about to expire. To try to get me to renew, an employee hounded me as I came in, and when I told him I was in a hurry and didn't have time to discuss my membership renewal, he planted himself next to my treadmill and tried to sell me during my workout. Sheesh. Most of these employees need personal trainers for customer service. If you still like Gold's, there are plenty of other Gold's in the area for you to choose from.
