It's true this place has a huge selection of video's, lots of toy's and they are open 24hrs.
But...this place is a total rip off.
They over price everything in the store.
They have second rate products at superstar prices.
Never make a purchase from these guy's unless you like wasting your time and throwing away your money.
My wife and I went in the other night to check out the only store of this type in Sacramento that stays open all night. The people were cool enough, cool enough to look you in the face when they have sold you a faulty product and tell you sorry we can't return anything.
So my wife and I buy a couple of DVD's and a new toy. When we get home and get ready to test our new purchases we are very disappointed. The Toy doesn't work, one of the videos won't even register in the DVD player and the other video get's about 15min in and just freezes. I figure they seemed cool down at Goldie's so they will be happy to exchange my purchase. All I wanted was my money's worth my $160 for three items worth...yea I know! That's allot...
Plus the dude told me if I had any problems I had three days to return the DVD's Well I didn't waste any time I went back in less than 8hrs. All I was looking for was store credit so I could get something that would work. I didn't think that would be a problem.
I WAS WRONG!!! The guy tells me he can't help me if the package has been opened? I had to open it to put the batteries in, how else are you going to find out if it works of not? Sooo even though it doesn't work the package was still in good condition and it was NOT used i'm out $80 on my wifes new toy...Yes!
Then the dude told me my DVD player was most likely to high end to play the DVD correctly???WHAT?
He puts it in his cheep little player and say's it plays fine, even though he couldn't make it play the actual movie just the credits and menu. Then he puts the other DVD in and fast forwards through it saying if it had a bad spot it wouldn't be able to fast forward.
WTF...Really?
So I buy another DVD because we want to have something, and if I came home empty handed my wife would kick my ass. This time a little higher end DVD that looked like a quality production. IT WAS NOT!
It was boring, slow and low quality. For extremely high price of (59.99) it should have been awesome...It was total crap, my wife made me throw it in the trash because it doesn't belong in a respectable adult movie collection.
Overall this place is a rip off for suckers, I guess suckers like me...
If you don't believe me try it yourself or better yet just take a hundred dollar bill and light it on fire, it will be faster and less frustrating.
I WILL NEVER RETURN AND NEITHER WILL ANYONE I KNOW EVER!!!
P.S. Yes I tried other videos to see if it was my DVD player, and yes I tried several different batteries, new batteries from the package, it was not me it was these scam artist's...
