In Short
This diminutive temple was born of a grant from Genevieve Vaughn and built as a modern monument to the Goddess Sekhmet, the ancient Egyptian Goddess of the Desert. It is sited on private land in the tiny desert oasis of Cactus Springs. No specific religion is formally recognized by the temple, so all are free to pray and meditate, 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. As might be expected, the Goddess Temple primarily attracts Pagans, neo-Hippies and others who practice nature-based faiths.
