Goddard School

Our Child started at The Goddard School in November, before this he was in an in home daycare with people we liked, at first we were hesitant to make the move but we are very glad we did. He has become more social and his learning skills have blossomed. When talking to relatives they always are amazed at how well his speech is developing, as a parent I notice his problem solving skills have really gotten good. The staff is amazing and is truly a family type environment, always willing to talk about our child or what happened last weekend. If you have ever wondered if you should start your child in an environment like this I would say absolutely and this Goddard is the best. Our boy has started in their 2-1/2 year old class we can't wait to see his development in the other classes. more

Our son Steven started at this school when he was only 6 weeks old, it has been such an amazing 5 1/2 years. We are so grateful for the footprints the teachers and the owners have left on our lives. They made us feel like our son was #1, (which of course we agreed, lol) and ensured he was always encouraged and challenged to grow. Each classroom throughout the years made such an incredible impact. Thank you Brooke, Travis and all the staff, we will be forever grateful on the fantastic start Steven had at your school! more

The Goddard School has had such an amazing impact on our children's lives and on our lives. We have been with The Goddard School since they opened their doors. We love the feeling of famly every time we walk in the door. Our children have grown and thrived under the style of teaching and the love of learning they instill. The beauty of Brooke, Travis and their entire staff is they are never satisfied and continue, each and every day, to find ways to improve their process. Goddard was the MOST AMAZING school for our child. She attended the school from the time she was one year old to five years old. She now attends Coyote Hills, which is known for its high Academic Standards and Curriculum. Because of Goddard, our daughter was COMPLETELY prepared for Coyote Hills. She already knew the alphabet, her numbers, could read and write her name as well as many of the sight words. I volunteer in the classroom at Coyote Hills and can tell the VAST difference between kids who attended Goddard and those kids that did not. Goddard prepared my daughter for Kindergarten better than I could have ever asked for. She excelled at the work required and was far ahead of her classmates, as were the other Goddard students. This school is AWESOME Academically. I never knew how much until my daughter entered Kindergarten. more

We are BIG fans of The Goddard School Aurora! Both my children attended Goddard - my daughter started there at one year and my son started at 8 weeks. The teachers are wonderful... very educated and knowledgable in early childhood education and extremely patient and kind with the kids. We love the curriculum and enthusiasm they have have for learning! My eldest is in kindergarten now and she is ahead of the curve in reading and writing. My yougest is still at Goddard and loves his teachers and friends! \r \r PS - The annual Art Gala displaying the childrens artwork is always wonderful!! more

I would recommend this location of The Goddard School to anyone looking for a safe and nurturing educational environment for young children. My first daughter, now in kindergarten, attended the school since she was 14 months old. She thrived throughout her time there, not only because of the solid instructional methods and high level of communication but also because of the fun family atmosphere that exists at the school. My daughter adored the teachers, owner and director, and still enjoys coming back to visit them. During the pre-kindergarten year, the classroom is set up with the kinds of tools, resources and terminology used at the nearby kindergarten, making the transition to kindergarten extremely easy for my daughter. During the Goddard graduation ceremony, I cried, not only because my daughter was transitioning to a new phase of life but also because she was leaving behind such a special place. My second daughter is in the infant room now, and because of the years that we have been at Goddard, I was completely confident that I was leaving my baby in good hands. Recent technology added to the school enables electronic reports and photos/videos to be emailed throughout the day if a parent chooses, providing peace of mind to working parents. more

First off, I have to say, my daughter LOVES THE GODDARD SCHOOL! I?m not one to write reviews or even make posts on Facebook due to my own privacy concerns, but when I see such a high quality school under attack, I feel I have to speak up. Goddard has been one of the most positive influences in my child?s young life. She?s been at Goddard for three years and will continue thru Pre-K, and the Owner, Directors, Teachers, curriculum, facility ? all of it ? are outstanding. My husband and I have met at least fifty families thru the years, and we?ve ALL had the same feeling about Goddard?. it?s a warm, caring environment where we know our children are safe and are getting the best start possible to prepare them for what lies ahead. So when I read a review that is so opposite of our experience, it gives me pause, and quite frankly, concerns me that a mother like me, searching for the best school for my child, may not give a great school a chance due to a very questionable more
