In Preparing to build a home. The customer must first know what he wants. Is it a custom stick build or a modular home. I once had a customer that researched Modular homes verses Stick built...He decided to go with a Modular , to save on money! What he was expecting was a custom Home , Well he had what we call in the industry was buyers remorse! Although he got the modular home that he ordered...He still was not happy! He wanted level 5 walls , which for a price we could have given him this , A Modular home can be a very nice home for the price , however it is not a custom home...So in planning to build make sure that your decision is final...We at G J Fletcher try to please everyone! But as the saying goes ""You can please some of the people some of the times , butt you can't please them all the time! We strive to please!!! I have had 2 complaints in 12 years with over 500 homes built...One of the complaints was work done by others and the other one was...you just can't make some people happy no matter how much you do for them... more

To the guys at Fletcher Construction, I just wanted to write you guys a quick note and say thank you for all your hard work. It was really nice to work with all of you. My wife and I love the house. I wanted to let you all know how much I appreciate the extra effort you put towards getting the house done. I know that the project had some challenges that were out of the ordinary. I found out from one of the guys on the job that you had taken extra time to get some paperwork problems handled. I also thought it was great that you checked in after we had moved in to make sure everything was good for us. Your efforts are appreciated and didn't go unnoticed. Our deck had suffered severe water damage over the last few years and after 10 + exasperating calls to overpriced contractors who acted like we weren't worth their time we finally found GJ. Their prompt attention, and excellent workmanship was only matched by their willingness to work within our budget. From start to finish jake walked us through all the details with patience and attentiveness to our concerns. They even did the roof repairs on the leaks that lead to the damage and need for replacement in the first place at no extra charge. Thank you for a job well done! more

GJ Fletcher was contracted to rebuild our home after the San Diego wildfires of 2007. The project was horribly mismanaged and deadlines were never met. Many promises were broken and we gave GJ Fletcher many opportunities to correct the mistakes. Quality of work was substandard and much of the work needs to be redone.
