I started ceramics 2 years ago when I walked into Git' Fired Up's studio. It was such a great experience I keep going back. I love the creatvie and stimulating environment and the diversity of projects to choose from. If ceramics isn't your thing you can always try glass fusion, beading, clay wheels or the new Silver Clay jewlery making which is actually 99% pure silver. I took my 10 year old grandson there recently and he made a silver pendant for his mom. He loved it because it was simple and he left the studio with it the same day. The studio also does repair work, custom painted signature plates as well as many other custom orders. Emily, the owner, whose degree is in art, has great summer camp programs and a terrific staff. Young , enthusiastic and artfullly talented would best describe the staff. The ambiance of this place is contagious and great fun. Check it out. It's a wonderful place for young and old.
Pros: You'll love the staff, selection of ceramics and diversity of projects to choose from.
