I was very pleased with the service I received from this company. They were very diligent in contacting me and letting me know he'd arrive at the timeslot promised. The tech even called on his way here and arrived on time. He was very courteous and did not try to sell me any extra services. He did a thorough inspection of both doors and noted any concerns. He did a great job replacing the broken spring and I was charged within the quoted range. There were no surprises. I am very glad I contacted this company and would highly reccommend them to friends. Technician that came to service my door was rude and surprisingly unprofessional. He tried to frighten me that my doors were unsafe and that I had fix them immediately. While I had a bad feeling right away, I agreed to do some work. It was Saturday, and I didn’t want to leave my door broken. I end up paying hundreds of dollars for work and parts I didn’t need and even then my doors were not fixed. Next day I called a small local company, they fixed both doors in no time and for only a small fraction of what I paid to Girard’s. The difference in service and pricing was astonishing. more

Just a brief note to express my satisfaction with the service and repair to my garage door opening system. I called late in the afternoon and received a service call before noon the next day. The technician, Shawn, provided me with a thorough explanation of the needed repairs. After I authorized that they be done, he proceeded to expeditiously make the necessary repairs. This was particularly important to me since I am a senior citizen with serious medical problems requiring reliable access to my garaged car. more

A great company to deal with!!! more

This company is a scam. They are incapable of fixing my garage door despite paying several hundred dollars and being guaranteed it would work. They are unprofessional, late, and a true displeasure to work with. Our door still doesn't work and we will have to find another company. I don't know how they are in business and how anyone gave them a positive review. This is one the most negative "house-call" experience I have ever had. more

Our old garage door opener system began malfunctioning whenever the whether got cold. One VERY cold morning a few months ago, it finally just stopped working entirely. We called Girard's and a technician was on-site within the hour. We now have an amazing new state-of-the-art opener system and could not be happier! We would recommend Girard's to ANYONE and EVERYONE! more
