I broke my driver side door handle and they fixed it right away. They always operate in a very timely fashion to take care of the customer.

No worries 7/26/2017

Gil's did a bunch of diagnostic tests on my vehicle and in the end there was nothing wrong with it - it just needed an oil change - and that's all they charged me for. Other places would have charged a bunch of money by the hour for that. My only complaint is that it takes about a week to get an appointment- but that's because they are so good. more

I have the utmost trust in both Mike and Roger. I know then they tell me that I need something, I believe them This is why I have always gone to them since living in Valpo. That is 29 years!! 5/13/2017

I can trust Gills. 3/26/2017

I get recommendations from the dealership when I take the car in for an oil change. I don't trust everything that they recommend. I can trust what Gill's tells me. If it doesn't need to be done they won't recommend it just to make money. In addition their pricing is reasonable compared to the dealership. more

Best auto repair place in Valpo 2/22/2017

For years I went to the GM Dealer for repairs - what was I thinking? Finally, when they came back with recommendations to to maintenance on things I'd already had fixed by them I decided to find a new place. Gill's came highly recommended and they haven't disappointed. They are no-nonsense and it feels like they let you know what you need to do, not what you could do to fix your car. They are advocates for you to keep your car running smoothly and don't charge you exorbitant amounts of money either. Highly recommend. more

Peace of mind 2/8/2017

Gill's Auto Repair has been my choice for car repair for at least the last 25 years. Roger and Mike are very knowledgeable, and they never hesitate to address any of my questions or concerns. They have my complete confidence, and I trust them to do anything. Just knowing that they are an HONEST shop that does quality work is invaluable to me and my family. Why would I even consider going anywhere else!? more

2008 gmc envoy 11/25/2016

My SUV wouldn't start & had to be jump. Walked in without an appointment & they checked it out, found out the battery needed to be replaced. The replaced it right then. Thanks more
