Giampino's is a quaint Italian restaurant and a BYOB. The food and service is excellent. The owner and staff are always welcoming. My family have had many celebrations here, and will continue to do so. more

Came here with family on a recent PA visit. Unlike the other reviewer I really liked the salad and Rigatoni al Pesto was to die for. My sister has come here several times and really enjoyed the Tortellini alla Bolognese. Recommend Giampino's for Italian. more

I recently visited Giampino's and ordered one of their special meals of the night. The quality of food was below average for the amount charged for the entree which was $20. Then on top of that, this restaurant advised me that they would not accept my coupon to their establishment. There are much better places to eat in the area for the price that this place charges. Therefore, I would not recommend this restraurant. more

I went to this place for a luncheon and was terribly disappointed. The salad had a ton of balsamic vinegar (NOT vinaigrette) on it and most of us couldn't even eat it. The bruschetta was not bad--but the main course (veal marsala) was so tough and very difficult to cut /chew! For the prices they charge, I would go somewhere else. The decor is nothing fancy or special and the NOISE is intolerable. more

Good: The wait staff, the atmosphere, and most of all the food! My wife is a chef...I can stay home for great food. Now we can go to Giampino's and let them cook.. Other: Absolutely lovely!. more

If you THINK you have received horrible service at place, you are those people who can't appreciate EXCELLENT FOOD and the NICEST PEOPLE in the biz! The owner has been there since he was 14 and has proven to be a success. I frequent Giampinos regularly and the family and staff have become like part of my family...always welcoming and would do anything to please. I highly doubt that the staff was rude to you unless you acted like a complete idiot and over exaggerated eveything sooo much. That family works their butts off so we can enjoy that amazing food. They have the BEST FOOD and the most GIFTED STAFF IN HAVERTOWN!!! I would definately recommed this place to eveyone I know.Just be nice and patient during busy times. Everything is made 100% from scratch when you order and thats what makes Giampinos sooo successful. Could you make 100 dinners at once?? I dont think so. If you're looking for fast food...go to Mc Donalds! I LOVE YOU GIAMPINO'S!!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!! more

This Italian BYOB located in Havertown, PA is a truely great restaurant. The owner is accessible and usually always chatting with customers. Staff is very accomodating and atmosphere is charming. Haven't even touched on the food yet. Phenomenal! Great specials and interesting dishes everyday. The BYOB aspect just sweetens this already great place. My wife and I will be going back tomorrow for our umteenth time. more

great place to pair your favorite italian foods with your favorite wines. the lasagna is with out a doubt the one i dreamed of !!!!!!! but all the food is fantastic!!!! the people there are friendly and give great service . m. snyder more

This was possibly the worst service I have ever recieved at a establishment. My wife and I had a reservation for 7:00pm sat down and waited 20 minutes before anyone came over to our table. We ordered and the waiting game continued ....8:30 and still no food. The hostess and wait staff were rude and didnt apoligize once. and when we did complain the comment we got from the owner was "what do you want? -- its busy" - DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE - food isnt anything to write home about either more

Giampino's Italian Restaurant is a cute little BYOB in Havertown. We love this place! They are so friendly and the food is fantastic. I would say that the food is more traditional Italian than some restaurant chains. They also do takeout, which is nice sometimes when we don’t want to leave the house. more
