I have been a customer of Giacomo's on Scenic for over seven years. I always loved their blended coffee-much better than Starbucks. However, within the last 4-5 months the product has changed maybe due to the way it is being prepared. Before it was icy all the way through and a generous amount of whip cream on top. Now I get it partly melted and the whip cream is melted and runny. I see the staff use whip cream which has been left on the counter everytime I order and then put it back on the counter where it gets hot and melts. Why the product itself is now half melted, I don' t know. The recent price increase doesn't bother me, they are still cheaper then most places but the change of the quality of the product definately does! I just purchased my last coffee this morning, it was half melted and the whip cream was so runny it actually dripped out the side of the cup. While the young people that work there are very friendly, they seem unconcerned or oblivious when they hand you a drink which looks like the one I was given this morning. They also spend a lot of time talking about their personal lives and tend to ignore the customers except to take the order, collect the money and hand them a drink which isn't up to previous standards. I am very disappointed.
