I had an AWESOME time 9/14/2011

After 5 years in the city I think I finally found my favorite bar. George is a great place to meet friends for an early drink, listen to good music all the way to the end of the night when you find yourself murdering the Dance floor with some beautiful babe. The bartenders were great and always remembered my tab the whole night. Back Bar Biggers poured me the best shot of Jamo I have ever had! more

What an awful experience. Who wants to get on the list AND pay cover at this snobby bar just to spend the whole night fighting to get one drink. The owners are extremely rude and unprofessional. A friend of mine planned a birthday party at George and agreed to pay ahead for 30 (!!) friends. She had one follow up question for the owners and was completely ignored via email and telephone, she never heard from them. Thank god she took her business to a different spot. The only reason George deserves a 2 over a 1 is because of its great decor. more
