I never had too many problems with my teeth, so I just assumed that most dentists were honest and would do only what was wanted and necessary for the patient. After seeing Park at "Gentle Dental" I am now a fearful and mistrustful dental patient. I have a feeling that, since this is a chain and I have seen a couple different people here, this is the sort of place that dentists go fresh out of school to hone their skills, build a clientele and move on. The front desk staff are great, the hygienists seem competent. HOWEVER, my husband and I both got told by Park that all of our fillings needed to be replaced, even though some of them weren't that old and we had no problems with them. I went in for what I thought was going to be a filling replacement, next thing I know my 4 front teeth are getting filed down and replaced with composite material which has now mostly fallen off. I laid there for 3 hours being worked on with NO communication about what was going on, no music to listen to, or really any concern about my comfort in general. It started to fall apart within 16 hours of the initial procedure. Park offered to fix it for free, but after my 3rd time going back to have it fixed I just couldn't go back there any more. Also, after one of the "repairs" my face was sore for weeks at the point where anesthetic was injected. I just want my real teeth back; now I have to deal with this for the rest of my life, or until I win the lotto and can afford fancy veneers. I would question the veracity of some of these other reviews, since most of them are through "demandforce". There are plenty of other dentists in fairwood, just go somewhere else.
