Genie Car Wash

BEWARE. The guys at this carwash are unsavory and unprofessional. I got my car detailed and when they were done I discovered that one of the buttons on my radio had come off during the cleaning. They also took drycleaning out of my car and didn't put it back in necessitating me to drive across town to get it. They said they would replace the lost button from the radio but after 3 calls asking them to follow through they stated dodging my calls and hanging up on me. Read other bad reviews on these guys, what happened to me was not an isolated incident. Please do not give this company your business, the changes are too great something bad will happen. more

this is the best place for a car wash or oil change i have use them several times and allways been pleased \r i allways go there when i need an oil change i will never use other places all i can say is thanks genie car wash personel more

I'm a local dentist in the area and a member of good standing in the community. I pride myself by having very high moral and ethical standards. Genie Car Wash has been obviously staining my carpet in the back of my vehicle in order to have my carpets cleaned. I live here alone and nobody occupies my backseat. I brought this to their attention out of good nature and was accused of trying to get a free carpet cleaning for something that they did. I asked the manager to rectify the problem and he told me that they are not responsible. I do not nickle and dime anyone, I have no problem paying for any service. But, I don't like to be lied to and taken advantage of. The owners of Genie Car Wash should be ashamed of themselves. Their business practices are an embarrassment to small business ownership. Unless you want to get taken advantage of, I highly recommend not getting your vehicle serviced at this location. more

I stopped in today for a quick wash. It was just that, quick. My Tundra looks great, it was fast, and the price was more then reasonable. Give credit where credit is due my Daddy always said. more

I took my car here for a wash, and decided to have an oil change done. The mechanic brought out two air filters and said they were dirty and needed replacement. I initially told him it was Ok to replace the filters, then changed my mind and let them know, and did not have the air filters replaced. Shortly thereafter, while driving my car, the car died. To make a long story short, I had to have the car towed to an auto repair facility. They diagnosed my problem stating the intake tube to the air cleaner or conditioner was off. It was a simple fix, and I was not charged for this. However, I have a big towing bill, and the inconvenience of missing an appointment and not having a car for a day. I called the car wash facility and spoke with the manager, who heard my complaint, and then directed me to the head mechanic. He said he did not know how this could happen. He offered no remedy or compensation of any sort. I will not go to this facility again, and I would definitely not recommend having your oil changed here. more

I have to say, I had my car washed there yesterday. Im not the type to normally write a review, but after looking online, seems that only people with negative things do. I was greeted my a man named Lou. He took care of everything for me. After all was said and done my car looked AMAZING! Went back to where I payed my bill, asked to speak to the manager. The sweat lady took me to the owner instead. I was shocked to find that it was Lou, working on one of the coldest days of the year here. They weren't understaffed, he just ""Likes to be out with my guys, down in the trenches, taking care of everyone. This is a customer service business, how can I serve if I sit in my office all day?"" Well hats off to you Lou! You have a customer for life who will refer everyone he ever meets there that wants a wash or oil change! more

To Whom It May Concern: On December 19, 2010 at around 10:00 a.m. I came into Genie Car Wash to have a routine car wash. I was sold on an oil change and waited patiently inside to get my car back. I had been waiting for about an hour before I was able to drive off. The oil change came with a free car wash and due to their computer system being down it took a little longer than expected to complete the process. Everything seemed okay when I was handed back my keys to my car. I even tipped the employees generously. I drove less than 5 miles down the road to grab a bagel. As I walked back to my car with my breakfast in hand I could not believe my eyes. My whole back bumper had been dislocated. It was hanging to the right and completely uneven. I drive a 2010 Nissan Altima and have not been in any accidents prior. I have a clean driving record and there seems to have been no malfunctions with my car prior to this occasion. I did not know what to do. I knew when my car arrived it had been in perfect condition, but when I left it had appeared that my bumper was no longer in tact. I drove back to inform Genie Car Wash that it appears my bumper had been snagged on something when going through the car wash. They informed me it came in this way. They had told me that had meant to tell me but they got distracted. Before I knew it I had a team of employees ganging up on me. I wasn't buying it. I felt like I was being taken advantage of. The staff at Genie Car Wash then began to try to fix the problem by pushing, kicking, and sticking metal rods in my bumper to try to align it. They kept on repeating it came in this way. At this point I was left with no other choice but to call the police. I was not looking to get anyone in trouble or to get some huge settlement. I just knew that my car was damaged by going through their car wash. The police began to interview the staff. The situation became 20 employees against me. I felt helpless and did not know what to do. They took down my information and informed me the owner would be in touch with me. Everyone except me had all agreed the car came in damaged. The owner never called me to follow up. I had called him to explain my story. He informed me that although he wasn't there he believes my car was damaged from the start. He says it is very well possible his car wash machine made it worse, but it was already damaged so he is not liable. He made no attempts to apologize. However he offered me some free services at his car wash. Now it is more than likely I will have to go to court when all I wanted was an apology and a fair solution to this problem. I am writing this review to warn any potential customers about the problems I had when going through this car wash. If you car is damaged do not go through because the car wash will make it worse. If you car is not damaged do not go through because the car wash will make it worse. Also if there is ""obvious damage"" their team does not have to inform you. I was a loyal customer and now I feel completely taken advantage of. Please enter this car wash at your own risk. more

I went to Genie Carwash on Shea near Scottsdale Rd. Mechanic lied about what needed to be fixed and when I mentioned that I did not need all the services he recommended, he stalled my car. They, at the end, blamed on a blown out fuse. Don't go there. more
