Kimber is excellent and so fun to talk with. Very personable. She does great in highlights too.

Worst

The haircut and blow dry were awful.The outcome was worse then doing the cut myself.

Great Place 10/26/2011

I have been going to Genesis for over 4 years now. Each time I get treated like I am the only person in the shop. No matter who you see you will walk out of there feeling like you were pampered like a princess. Highly recommended this salon to anyone. more

Love this salon! 10/23/2011

This was my third time getting cut and color with Kimber. Not only is she a talented stylist, but she is also very sweet and professional. I will continue to go back to her for all of my hair needs :) The salon is very modern and sleek but not pretentious at all, so you still feel comfortable. They keep everything clean and tidy. Only thing I was a little disappointed in is that when I came in, I asked the receptionist if I could get my eyebrows waxed and she said "we'll see" and I didn't hear anything after that - even when I was about to pay. I didn't bring it up again but didn't think I needed to. Other than that, my experience was excellent! more

great hairstyle experience 10/22/2011

Returned to Genesis for a hairstyle after more than a year of using another salon. Was always happy with Genesis, just wanted to go to a stylist more my age. I am back to my previous Genesis stylist whose 25 years younger but more focused throughout the appt. I was happy to find the new Genesis salon to be inviting and clean. Quality product was used for my shampoo, conditioning and styling. I felt like there was no skimping on time, effort or product to complete my hairstyle. Great service - happy with end result! more

Absolutely the "Best" 10/20/2011

I have been a client of Genesis Salon for only a year, but a client of Salon 124 for many, many years. Every time I leave Genesis @ The Avenue I am nothing but completely pleased with the entire service, from check in, to check out. I always have compliments on my hair and have been asked, "where do you get your hair done?" Everyone is eager to please and makes sure you are happy when you leave. That's what I call "Service"!! more

Thank you for the last minute appointment. I called around 8:45 and got a choice of an 11:30 or 12:15 slot. Thank you to Meagan for looking at the photos I brought in and for taking time to look at my hair and assessing my request. : ) more
