Gregory G. Gay was born in Tarpon Springs, Florida. He attended St. Petersburg Junior College where he received an A.A. in 1968 and Florida State University where he earned a B.S. in Accounting in 1970. In 1973, he earned a Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law and was admitted to the Florida Bar.From 1973-1974, Gregory Gay was an Assistant State Attorney in the 7th Judicial Circuit. In 1975, he and his wife, Julia, moved to Pasco County and began his practice in New Port Richey. In 1983, he earned a Master of Science in Financial Services Degree from American College and a M.A.B.S. from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1998. He earned a M.Div. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2010.Gregory Gay is the author of the “Florida Senior Legal Guide, Fifth Edition,” Senior Law Series 2011. He was the president of the North Suncoast Estate Planning Council from 1995-1996; the president of the Tampa Bay Planned Giving Council of 1999, and the Director and President from 1989-1990 of the Florida Lawyers Insurance Corporation. He is a Circuit Court Civil Mediator and a Certified Elder Law Attorney of the National Elder Law Foundation.He is a member of the West Pasco Bar Association (President, 1981-1982); The Florida Bar; the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (Board Certified Wills, Trusts & Estates and Elder Law Lawyer, Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education.) and the New Port Richey Rotary Club.
