All I have to say is for the 23 years of my existence I have not had the experience or the feeling that I felt when I walked out of those doors. I love my hair. I cannot go elsewhere! Although there are plenty of salons to choose from in the 90210 area. I would never try a different salon because I am so pleased with Gavert Atelier. Considering it's in Beverly Hills, the prices are very reasonable. I've definitely paid more before for a haircut and style that was not worth the cost. \r \r The atmosphere is very relaxing and nice, the products leave my hair feeling like it has never felt before and the staff is great. I love my new style! My stylist gave me some great input and suggestions for a new look and I loved them! I cannot wait for my next appointment in a few months!!! more

I went in to see israel with a very clear wish list for my hair and even went in for a consult. We had a total understanding of what I wanted. But during the hair cut, he started to get angry (I mean can you spell ANGER MANAGEMENT)? This angry scissorman emerged....slightly scary if you know what I mean. \r \r Needless to say the haircut did not go as planned. He decided to give me his own signature hair cut and he told me that he is known for his signature cuts which begs the question, where was this info during the consult? I get the feeling that his signature cuts are not that in demand. I should have realized that something was amis. Not only was the cut not what I asked for but it was technically and esthetically way off. His signature style proved that maybe he should adopt someone elses style and leave the signature styles to the masters. more

I was referred to Kazumi at Gavert Atelier salon by my daughter who also gets her hair done there. My experience with Kazumi was awesome. Though I was skeptcal at having some of these services done, Kazumi answered all of my questions and eased my concerns with her vast knowledge of the products she uses. She did a color correction on my hair that turned out excellent! She also did a Brazillia blow out that is amazing!! My hair is very thick and course and can be a bit frizzy. With this amazing procedure it is now soft, shiny and best of all, not frizzy at all. I've had thermal straightenings in the past and I have to say that the Brazillian is so much better. Kazumi created a new me that I love! I highly recommend her services to everyone. She will not dissapoint. I have to say that the other staff members at the salon were also wonderful. Since the first time Lana Grand did my highlights, she's my gal! I wouldn't go to anyone else. I've tried a few other colorists and re: of experience or price (some that made me want to run out of the salon and never go back!) they still couldn't make my highlights look as natural, evenly toned and well matched to my coloring as well as Lana has. A friend told me about Kazumi Maeda 10 years ago. I have very frizzy hair, and he heard about this revolutionary straightening treatment. 10 years later, I am still visiting Kazumi every few months. She has changed my life! I went from having frizzy, unmanageable hair, to perfectly straight hair that is incredibly easy to manage. I would spend HOURS attempting to dry and iron my hair to look somewhat presentable, and failed miserably most days And now, I shower, dry my hair, and it looks perfectt. The texture is amazing, and my hair has never felt so healthy. The past 10 years have been great for my hair :) Kazumi also does a brilliant job with my color, and most recently, my great lengths hair extensions. If you are considering extensions, I cannot say enough about what a wonderful job Kazumi has done with my hair (which looks amazing!). I was so hesitant to get them, but can't believe I waited so long. My hair has truly never looked better. I absolutely love it. If you are considering extensions (or straightening) I highly recommend that you make an appointment with Kazumi! She will seriously change your life. Israel gives the very best blowout I have ever found! I have insanely difficult hair. Its beyond frizzy and a hot mess all around. I have been getting my hair relaxed and straightened my whole life. The first time Israel did my hair it felt like someone had transformed my straw-like hair into silk. I was utterly shocked! It had so much movement, it wasn't weighted down in the slightest, was pin straight and I had two inches of un-relaxed hair growth! My friend with very curly hair also had her hair blown-out by Israel last week and its still straight! Also for a Beverly HIlls salon I find the prices to be very reasonable. I was misquoted by $200, my hair didn't stay straightened after my Brazallian treatment. I had to deal with a reactive non professional hair stylist who was was never in direct commuincation with the front desk. My money ($400) minus the tip ($65) was refunded in the end but it was the worst hair salon experience I have ever had. more

I have been everywhere Anastasia (washed up) Damone ( a Joke). Then I went to Gavert Atelier I heard from a close celebrity friend who introduced me to Robert. He has the same celebrity elite following but not flashy and trashy about it i.e. Anastasia & Damone. He is down to earth and true artist. And Robert Bolanos is Eyebrow and Make up KING!!! The best hands down! No question he has a natural aesthetic with knowledge to back it up. I went to those other has beens and they just do not compare. He made my eyebrows look amazing I felt lost without him. His make up is so natural and beautiful. I have gone to Mika for over a year now and she has continually exceeded my expectations. Every time I get a haircut, I receive a barrage of compliments. She is talented, thorough, and patient. When I want a reliable, quality cut I go to Mika or Emi. Beautiful highlights, Leah. Their prices range on the high side...but you are paying for a perfect cut & color. The shampoo massage isn't the highlight like they make it sound in the description, but it is nice. I just like the salon's no-nonsense attitude. It is a great salon with great stylists. Niki Le is the first lady of sculptured nails! :-) If you want the perfect look and won't accept anything but the best, you know what I am talking about. I drive from Calabasas to BH because it is wroth it. Yeah, Yeah, she does tons of celebs, and mags, but she just does the best work out there. ANd she cracks me up the whole time I am there. more

I have been going to Robert at Gavert Atelier for my eyebrows for awhile now. He gets it right for every face, his style is more natural and young. He doesn't need too much eyebrow powder or pencils to enhance your look. He is also a genious with makeup. He knows all the brands and do what is right for your personality and vision.
