We have attended many 'shows' at the Gateway Center and recently spent the evening here for a wedding reception. The Center is very nice; well-decorated wtih a 'special' feel about it. Also, the staff is incredible; the reception we attended was for the son of good friends of ours, and they said the staff had been incredibly helpful in planning the reception. According to them, cost here was comparable to other large halls in the local area; in terms of hall appearance, Gateway Center is second to none. more

Good conventions 5/12/2006

While this may not be the ideal place to have a wedding, it does seem to be suitable for most of the conventions we've been to in the area. The parking is always adequate, the admission is either free or reasonable, and the facility seems to be clean and presentable every time. The Baby Fair, hosted by Anderson Hospital, is a big favorite of ours. more
