Amazing classic pizza, the calamari is great, and the staff was wonderful! You have to try this place!

You can't go wrong at table 42. it's like your local place for good pizza, and salads to share. Wonderful staff on no matter what time you go. more

really good panini choice here and fairly reasonable in price (considering the size you get and the fries). I've tried two so far, the chicken cutlet blt panini, and the tomato mozzarella panini. Both were good, and if I hadddd to choose, I would get the chicken cutlet only because of the protein factor- filling for an early lunch to last you until dinner more

We dined here last night, and despite the bad weather we really enjoyed our experience. The server was so gracious, and went through their cocktail list and the few menu options we narrowed down to. Family feeling, and the food came out great. I got the brooklyn style pizza pie, and coming from a person who grew up in NY, I have to say, it was very very good. more

After we enjoyed a night out (during the busy weeknights) we had decided to actually order dessert for once while dining out at table 42. We shared two items from there dessert menu, the Cannoli with a cinnamon shell, and the Tiramisu with espresso in it. Both dishes were amazing, and really ended our night with a good taste for Table 42's dishes! oh! and for dinner I recommend the roasted half chicken more

& ordered the Tuscan Salad which was divine. We shared the crispy buffalo wings at the bar. After we we indulged in the Chicken Cutlet BLT Panini. so good, and the service was second to none. I have zero complaint and the restaurant looks like it was spotless, even in the middle of a crazy lunch rush. more

it's something about this place that always has us coming back for me. The food is always spot on and that means a lot to us, consistency. They run their restaurant like a ship. No wonder why they are the staple Italian Kitchen place with the best pizza in town for so many years now. more

We were caught here hungry and in the middle of a down pour, a less than enthusiastic waiter ushered us in. We should've asked to see a menu first- it wasn't at all impressive for the prices, but after much debate we felt we were in too deep so we stayed and ordered a calamari as an appetizer. Our waiter recommended it, and although the ingredients seemed like they wouldn't mesh, they worked perfectly! $12 well spent. Then came the entree- again, the waiter recommended it, the most expensive pasta on the menu, in that 'I'm-saying-it's-the-best-cause-it-costs-the-most' kinda way and although we sensed that we ordered it anyway. Big mistake. The "highly recommendrd" veal rigatoni with ricotta for $19 was the worst pasta we've had the misfortune to order. I wish I could say it tasted bad but it didn't have enough taste to qualify as tasting. To top it off there weren't any salt or pepper shakers on the table to rectify the situation- only big stupid, dusty cans of tomato. On top of that, the under-whelmed waiter was as equally uninterested in our visit so lucky the rain let up and we made our escape. My advice: if you can go for the calamari and leave before it starts to rain. more

The pizza was fantastic, and the salad was super tasty! more

I have gone a few times now and I always leave pleased and full. They for sure don't skimp on the portions which is reassuring that you get what you pay for unlike some others in the plaza. The calamari is really good, and the MEATBALL PARMESAN panini is amazing for lunch. They do an awesome job here, and the patio is quiet which makes for a nice business lunch or a lunch out with mom. more

Had an amazing experience here. The calamari was delicious, and tasty. The wine selection was huge, and when it began raining heavily outside, they graciously re-sat us (without us asking) to the inside, where it was packed, but they made room for our party of 4. more

The service here is one of a kind. The staff are all very nice, a bit young, but very professional in their ways. We ordered something and it came out at a good time, and the burger was juicier that I thought it could ever be (good thing). the manager came over and chit chatted with us, and he was very friendly, but certainly not too forthcoming. We felt at ease there, not pretentious at all like many restaurants in the boca area. The salads are also, just as good and tasty as they appear on the menus. more

the food is fresh and I enjoy watching the madd ness of burger night and pizza night. People love it like we do! more

Is cooked really well, and the staff seems to do well under the pressure of dinner time rush. Nicely composed, and good food equals a great dinner more

Many places are claiming they cook Italian food, and are typically 'fair' at best. Table 42 has the authentic flavors of Italy, and the bread and marinara sauce for starters is a great way to begin! Try the truffle pizza pie, and you'll want to come back for more. more

awesome starter for lunch or dinner.. esp when there's a game playing in the restaurant at the bar. Nice Bar tender, very handsome, the server was extremely friendly more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 4/10/2012

Had a fantastic conversation with the manager on duty. We talked about the wine selection and he helped me pair what would go best with my meal. I would recommend the salads or a giant meatball for a sharing dish before hand. Also, we got the key lime pie- which miiiight be a special, not sure, but trust me... it was SPECIAL! I will be back just to have that this week! more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 4/10/2012

After dining at table 42 for nearly two years, at least once a month, I find it offensive when I read reviews that lack the facts. To the review'er below (janna), are you positive you posted on restaurant you visited? For one, the $5 Burger is usually too big for me to finish, and the patty is so big it takes more then a few bites just to make a dent! Secondly, they've been serving the $5 Burger on the same bun since I first began visiting, a SESAME TOASTED BUN, greatly complimenting the patty. Last, but not least, the service is one of the best I've experienced yet in Boca. The staff plus the managers on duty are beyond friendly. Just a few qualms I found from that reviews earlier that leads me to believe she reviewed the wrong restaurant. 110% sure they don't serve a whole wheat bun. more

To AMAZING authentic Italian, The Truffle Pizza was just as good as our friends said it was. No wonder it won awards! We will be returning this weekend for the holiday! more

Went last night for dinner and sat outside. I was really disappointed in the service from "Pierre" ( I believe his name was?). We were basically neglected the entire evening while he catered and took his time servicing the tables next to us. I guess it was because the parties were larger than our two top & ordered wine? There really was no excuse. My friend had to remind him twice to bring him a fresh drink, my first "sprite" arrived to the table as soda water instead but I drank it without complaining. His service & presence were non-existent the entire evening which was completely unacceptable and surprising for this restaurant, as I have been here before and have had great service in the past.\r We did the 5$ burger special, and I was really disappointed. The patty is small, it is fresh and a good grade of meat, however the buns are OVERWHELMINGLY thick and large, not toasted enough, and seemed to be some sort of whole grain, so all I tasted was endless bread. I am super health conscious and love healthy food, but when I want a burger, I want a BURGER with a real bun, not some kind of grainy, whole wheat tasting bun. There should be an option and the customer should have a choice.\r Overall, the experience was disappointing. I guess I will be back, but I will insist on an attentive waiter/waitress and something other than their "5$ bread burger"! more
