We have been taking music lessons at Garden Music for several years, since the previous owners opened the place. While the previous owners may not have done well financially, they certainly could have taught the new owners about customer service. I HATE the way the music school is run, and if it weren't for the excellent instructor we are using (we cut down to one, because I don't want to give them a dime more than I need to), I would certainly stop using this music school. First of all, if you are going on vacation, you have to make up your lesson, rather than skipping that week. If you change your lesson that week, they never tell the instructor. I learned that it is best to get the personal phone number of your instructor so YOU can tell them you have changed your normal instruction time, otherwise, you will show up and no one will be there. They are extremely disorganized and have no customer service whatsoever. The people who work at the front desk are so apathetic, I think they are comatose. If you complain, they look at you like they absolutely don't care. You are out of luck. It is also filthy. There are insects on the floor and it doesn't seem like it is ever cleaned. If you are thinking of music lessons, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Unfortunately for their very good instructors, the management at Garden Music School is ruining the place.
