Way worth it 11/26/2005

I liked Viceroy Hotel in Santa monica and thought it was a really good find. When I arrived to Santa Monica, I drove from one hotel to another, finally finding this one and being very happy for getting a good price on a room there. The location was perfect for shopping and beach resting. more

Great Hotel 8/6/2005

The Viceroy is a great hotel for those who are staying in Los Angeles and want to be close to the beach. The hotel is usually filled with beautiful and hip people and the bar that is located inside the hotel is a hip bar that non-hotel guests often visit. The pools and the cabanas by the pools are relaxing for a summer day or night. more

So not worth it 7/10/2005

This hotel is horribly overpriced. I stayed there a few years ago when it cost under $200 a night to stay there, but now I just don't get what the fuss is all about, especially that now it costs over $300 to stay there. The room was nice and clean, but it wasn't worth the money. I liked that it was near the beach though. I recommend this hotel only if you have plenty of money or are willing to do anything in order to stay near the ocean. more
