Good and Cheap 3/10/2006

This places has pretty good Italian food. It is fresh and is great for takeout. This place is also very cheap. You can get many slices of pizza for just a few bucks. They have many toppings including a variety of meats and veggies such as onions, mushrooms, pepporoni, hame, peppers, tomatoes, and others.The food is pretty good and with the cheap price, I recommend this place. more

Cheap Eats 2/5/2006

Everything at Galleria Umberto is excellent- from the calzones to the pizza slices. Made with fresh ingredients and prepared in Italian tradition, all the food here comes out tasting wonderfully. This place is best for take out since there is really no place to enjoy your food within. The prices of all the a la carte items are suprisingly low. One of the North End's best joints- a favorite among locals and the tourists that are lucky enough to stumble upon it more

great food for little money 12/15/2005

It's easily passed by in the North End, but Umberto's is a great lunch place during the work day. The long line will move eventually, but it's worth waiting. It's SO cheap, and good food too. Nothing fancy, but a $3 lunch shouldn't have to be! more
